Your mom seems really supportive of your passions and hobbies! Especially since she is on the trip with you. My mom refuses to talk with me about my love for pastel fashion because she says it's boring so I don't think I'll ever get to explore Japan with her like i want to.

I don't know how my mom feels about it because she has dementia. My dad is not into fashion or Japanese culture or anything, but I think he might go with me to New Zealand one day to tour Hobbiton! Idk what I'm going to do for Japan. I'm trying to learn the language so that I can go by myself and not be totally lost. lol

Why not find something you both enjoy, like just exploring the culture, my mum can't stand the anime stuff I'm into or the cutesy side of Japan but she would still go, just to explore the culture and the food. If your to go to Japan just to explore the pastel fashion, maybe you need to do a bit more research before you go, go of course explore the world, but Japan has much more to offer and a Pixielocks thoroughly planed out her stay, so maybe just plan it and research the place a lot more before you go, But if your mum won't go, maybe go by yourself and meet up with a RU-vidr whose already in Japan so you can both explore.

I'm so happy your supporting more Japanese brandsagain, if I remember last year you only brought from Spinns/Wego so it's great to see you branch out to Spank and such. With your friends in japan, ordering from small stores and online shops should be a doddle!

+luigipony I became more interested in Western brands last year, like American Apparel, Irregular Choice, Lazy Oaf, UNIF, etc, so I was still supporting designer driven brands just not from Japan! Trust me I have definitely given my share to the Japanese economy lol

It was so wonderful to see all the magical girl stuff. I'm a Sailor Moon gal myself, but am def going to watch some Pretty Cure now! If I lived there, I'd be so broke. $3500 for an original toy?? Is it bad that my fave part of the video was the bath part at the end? lol I'm from America and our tubs are way too small, I adore Japanese bath culture bc the baths are big enough that you can be an adult and have a proper soak. I take baths all the time but most of my body isn't even submerged bc the tub is so small. Tbh my only goal for my future home is that it has a big bathtub

I've actually been using Benefit's Roller Lash lately because I ran out of my Better Than Sex and I don't know if it's my new fave or not, it's SO GOOD

Pixielocks I couldn't choose between those two, so I use Better Than Sex for volume on my top lashes and Roller Lash on my bottom lashes for a doll-like look. They're both so good, but so different from one another!
