I've never read so much contemporary romance as I have this year. I've always gravitated toward classic and historical - and those are still top of my heart. I've been pleasantly surprised at the clean contemporaries I've found over the last few months.

I wasn't drawn to them either. I am more of a historical fiction reader, but they are so many good ones out there. And I really wanted some sweet reads for the summer.

I love Jessica Kate, and yes all her books are Christian romance! I’ve read all of her books and really enjoyed them. My personal of hers is A Girl’s Guide to the Outback which stars secondary characters from Love and Other Mistakes!

Romance, yay! And Persuasion! I love it. Cute vintage copy. Stay With Me was really good. I just recently read a Jenny Proctor book. It was fun! I need to try Courtney's books. I want to try Katherine Center also.

I hope you'll enjoy all of your reads! And you really can't go wrong with Austen. Persuasion is in my bottom three, but all six of her novels are amazing. And I hope you enjoy Before and After! It's set at Christmas, so would be good for a Christmas in July kind of read, haha. And it's great for any time of year, just happens to take place then.

I’m going to read Persuasion in July also! I’ve read it before but looking forward to reading it again. I’m reading Mistborn right now but probably won’t finish book two until mid July. Looks like you have lots of great books lined up!
