Peter, I just want to sent you a massive thank you. I’m a old guy (55) that trying to play some guitar and your tutorials help me a lot. Thank you a lot. Please keep sharing and teaching those great British songs! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's a combination between wonderwall and champagne supernova chords, beautiful song with powerful lyrics, thanks man for the contribution, cheers from Mexico.
Hey man! I've been watching your videos for a while now and what can I say... Thank you, you are the best guitar teacher of youtube! ;) When I found out about this song, I fell in love with it straight away. Knowing it hasn't been released yet, I was afraid there wouldn't be any tutorials for it. But yet again, you're ahead of everyone. Thank you thank you! Plus, you've got great tastes in music! Keep up the good work :D
to add to add to that, I wasn't a great fan of your voice in the begining. But I think with time, it's improved a lot! It goes so good with this song, well done :)
love this track i bought my guitar 3 weeks ago spent around 3-4 hours and i can already play the intro nothing more rewarding than being able to play noels tracks, cheers for the videos dude
Hey fellas. I just tabbed out the chords for this song on UltimateGuitar because I could not find them elsewhere. They take up to 48 hours to be reviewed and posted. Easy song, but I like to look at them while learning the words. Hope this helps. Thumbs up so others can see if you would like. Cheers.
Hi, I just watched Noel on rte 2fm and he is playing em ds2 cm7/g and as4 in bridge sounds fab... Ps your tutorials are excellent keep up good work ;-))
Hi mate! In first place I got to say I've learned a lot watching your videos when I was kind of newbie in this beautiful world of playing music, that's why I want to thank you. In second place, I must say that there is a tiny error in the 2nd bridge. Here, you strum (relative to capo): Asus4 Cause I tried my best to get there Cadd9 (or C/G) but I can't afford the bus fare Dsus4 and the storm that's rolling over Asus4 Cadd9 (or C/G) Man, it makes me wanna cry [And so on....] When it should be: Asus4 Wanna try my best to get there Cadd9 (or C/G) but I can't afford the bus fare Dsus4 and the storm that's rolling over Asus4 Man, it makes me wanna cry Cadd9 (or C/G) And the cold against my shoulder Dsus4 When it comes on in the winter Asus4 And it seems to last forever Cadd9 (C/G) Dsus4 Em7 And it makes me wanna, makes me wanna cry... Hope this helps to everyone who wants to play this amazing (and, in my "well paid opinion", the best of his solo career) song. Keep it up! Cheers from Buenos Aires, Argentina!
BRILLIANT!!!!! Thanks Pete. Any chance u can do a tutorial/lesson on RTE2fm version/performance?. From what I can see Noel plays slightly different chords..Cheers
Brilliant tutorial mate and its 100% spot on been playing along with the chords. Youll probably see my cover version of the song soon if you look into it mate cheers again
Tried to find the chords myself as I only discovered the song litterally like 3 days ago. Not hard at all indeed but this video helped me iron out the few things I got wrong and now I can play it properly. Almost. So thanks a lot !
Just watched Noel playing a live version of this and he looks to be playing it differently. Looks like he is playing a standard Em rather than Em7 and a C instead of Cadd9
Hey man, great video as always. Love this song - LOVE NOEL GALLAGHER! I have a question i was hoping you could help me with. I want to learn a song that i can play with my girlfriend, we both play acoustic guitars. We are very versatile with songs, any suggestions would be nice, thank you.
Watching him play it live he does moy keep those fingers on the be and e. In fact he plays a cmaj7/g so its quite obvious he doesnt. But thanks for all your tutorials they are usually very accurate
+Scott Johnson Not to be rude or anything. But you don't need it. Just feel the music, and it will come. Thinking about strumming patterns all the time, makes it harder to paly any tune.
Wow, sounds amazing as always, thank you very much. A request for you, can you try to do the song "Strange Thing", of the Definitely Maybe Sessions? It would be amazing! Congratulations for all your work.
Noel just released a new album. But I dont care because you didn't release any new video since... forever. Dont you think now would be a great time for a comeback ? hope you're doing well, man.
Please forgive my ignorance here. I want to play this at my fiancees grave side. If you could message me or type here the strumming patterns it would be so much appreciated. Thank you in advance
This is a good tutorial. The only downfall is that Noel plays a normal open chords instead of the usual oasis chords. That's no biggie tho, just personal preference for me.
