This is my Under Night In-Birth remix of Akatsuki's theme "Dawn of War - Again". In all of my UNIST music covers I like to experiment mixing classic / retro video game sounds and samples with my various synthesizers, pianos and keyboards. For Akatsuki's theme, I wanted to use some Megaman Battle Network soundfont for a futurist techno / electronic vibe. I used some pathes from my Casi CT-X 3000 and Yamaha DX-7 Reface! It took a while to get everything sounding good but I'd say the song came out nicely!
I've also been challenging myself to write solos on more of my UNIClr character theme remixes so this one took a really long time to nail! I couldn't tell you where the inspiration comes but I think I hear some Byakuya in there somewhere.
Anyways, thanks for checking this out. I know many of you have been asking for Akatsuki's theme to be covered and now that Blitz Camp is a part of Blazblue Cross Tag Battle I figured now was the perfect time!
