KFF is a cartridge created at the beginning of 2020 by Kim Jorgensen and, more importantly, it has been actively developed so far - the last software update is only two weeks old - the primary purpose of which was probably to create a cartridge - for loading cartridges - from an SD card.
Yes - its basic functionality - is the ability to run cartridge images for Commodore 64 from the form of CRT and BIN files found on the SD card inserted into it. Why this in itself is wonderful at this point - I will explain to you in a moment.
Kung Fu Flash now supports over 25 types of cartridges - starting from the simplest standard Commodore 8kb, 16kb and Ultimax cartridges, through those popular in the times of Commodore domination, to modern ones - such as 1 MByte EasyFlash cartridges - a mega popular format - and thus I'll mention it in a moment.
If that were all - it would be cool - but in addition to supporting cartridge files - KKF also supports loading games directly from PRG executable files, very popular for storing single-file games in emulators, and T64 files - such containers for cartridge games - also popular in emulation Commodre 64 - from which you can run single programs.
Multi-file cartridge games are not supported if they contain any reloading. In other words, we can enter such a T64 file and, if there is more than one program in it, run only one of them.
If that's not enough for you - there is one more thing - that has developed quite a lot over these few years. Kung Fu Flesh also recognizes and supports D64, D71 and D81 files - i.e. images of Commodore floppy disks.
