It shows iOS iPhone is supported. can you confirm this? there is now a bimmercode app on iPhone cool. thank you for your help on this channel. its helped me with my 2005 GS. Greetings from Utah.

Greetings from Winnipeg Canada. I just recently went to my BMW dealer with my 2007 R1200gs for a new rear TPMS sensor. First they told me that sensors were no longer available for my bike and then when I talked with their service advisor they pretty much told me I was screwed and there was nothing they could do for me. After watching a few of your videos on the motoscan app I decided to download the app (Ultimate version) and purchase the connector, OBDlink LX interface, wake up tool and a pair of Chinese sensors all from amazon for less money than the original cost of a new OEM sensor if I could indeed find one. I am happy to say that I was able to relearn the new sensor and re programmed the Kombi unity to display in PSI rather than BARs which I can never relate to. LOL. Thanks for making these videos, it has helped me immensely. Cheers! PS, next time I'm in my dealer I will suggest that they start watching You Tube channels and learn something.

Hello from Calgary Canada. I have watched 2 of your vids on the motoscan app. Just ordered it as well as the Usci 2100. I am an Apple user but had an android phone in a drawer. Great work around. I am assuming you just need to connect to wifi in order to download the app. You don’t need wifi 8n order to diagnose your bike? Thanks for making such thorough vids.

For the F650-2009 there is no sign on the display. So thats not possible.

Hartelijk dank voor de vergelijking tussen Motoscan en 911. Geweldig werk, waardoor ik heb besloten om Motoscan te kopen (wat je royalty's zou moeten opleveren 😄 ). my unicarscan just arived...but im not near bike...and what i want to ask when i instal motoscan app i cannot bought ultimate version...is that normal because first i need to plug in unuscar in bike than start motoscan app and than buy ultimate version...or ? thanks

Goedeavond. Allereerst complimenten voor uw kanaal. Mooie filmpjes en tips. Ik heb een vraag. Misschien kunt u mij helpen. Ik heb een r1200gs 2017. Origineel met halogeen koplamp. Achteraf een ledkoplamp op gezet. Via de dealer software erin en alles werkt (te) top. Nou heb ik geen knopje op het stuur voor dagrijverlichting. Dus mijn dimlicht brand altijd. Geeft niet. Nu heb ik per ongeluk in het met (setup) dagrij verlichting geactiveerd. Mijn dimlicht is nu uit en alleen LED hoefijzer brand. Zou ik deze via de obd mx+ dongle weer kunnen activeren denkt u? Of zal ik weer langs de dealer moeten? Groet!! Pakket.

Hello Old Mechanic. I subscribed to your channel long time ago. I bought the MotoScan ultimate long time ago. I do service myself my K1300GT model 2009 bike and MotoScan is an invaluable tool. I relocated recently and I went to a dealership to have the tyres replaced. It seems they messed around with my settings intentionally and disabled some screens probably by coding. Is there a way to do factory default on coding? Thank you.

Not that I know of. I think go back to the dealer and ask them to reverse those settings like it was before. I also have no idea why they did do that, there is no need for that.

Dear friend would you know about the shifter. Mine gs adv 2016. 1,2,3 are harder than 4,5,6 when i upshift or downshift i have a new clutch lamels changed 3k km ago original bmw. Neutral is also sometimes hard to catch. And ine other thing everytime i start a bike i have a feeling that it runs in other mode different soud comes from engine once its ratteling Other time its smooth.

I'm having intermittent problems with the Shift Assistant Pro on my 2015 S1000RR (K46 0D21). I need to start by clearing the transmission adaptations and reset the calibration. Will the MotoScan app clear the stored adaptations?

Do you need to do adaptor check if your bike has an ODB port that you plug the scanner directly to without an adaptor?

@@TheOldMechanic thank you, as I finaly order the OBD II today as I plan to purchase a bmw s1000r gen2 (2017-2020) and would like to check the bikes for fault codes before purchase. Also the reason I asked is because on gen2 it has a direct OBD port Also you're the reason I bought it I watched all your videos about it. Until I came across your channel I didn't even know about it.

I have found that I cannot get Motoscan app to work properly when I have no reception or wifi - it does not recognise that I have the Ultimate license - this is a problem in South Africa where we have limited reception in rural areas where we go riding - I then cannot diagnose a problem along the route. Anyone else experience this?

Thats how the motoscan app works, you need OR wifi OR a sim card with internet acces..

@@TheOldMechanic I don't know your email address to send you pics. Basically the "Info" button on the combination switch is disabled. I can only press the push button on the left side of the screen and have only trip 1 and trip 2 displayed on the screen. When I started the engine before, I used to have the tyre pressure on the screen between other info. The tyre pressure appears now on the screen only as a warning when the pressure îs below the 2.5 bar in the front and 2.9 bar in the rear.
