Great video, thanks! It would be even greater if you could make another video about how to install these tools from scratch for people who use Umbrel etc. I see you talk about Docker, so maybe we need to install that first? But even that is pretty advanced when you don't understand exactly what it does etc.
@@Bitcoinftm OK, great! I checked out the guides in the description but they all assumed some previous level of knowledge of how to access the innards of your RPi's OS from another computer, i.e. SSH, Docket etc. And many of us who came to Lightning through Umbrel, don't have that knowledge. I personally use Terminal in macOS quite frequently, but to use it to access another computer is next level for me. 😀 And I don't want to do command line stuff when I don't really understand what is happening, since it can really screw things up if you do something incorrectly. 😀 So thank you again for the excellent videos!
@@don.mccracken This guide someone put up is pretty good explaining exactly what to do from where How to automatically update your routing fees via Umbrel (or any other dockerized node)
I'm conflicted. Heard strong claims either way from multiple interesting sources. I lean towards Telegram is not good. Anyway, I wouldn't dare to suggest FB. I suggest Signal which is clearly better than anything else.
@@Bitcoinftm Where is the tutorial? Maybe there used to be a link but it doesn't work anymore? Tried to install lntop on umbrel using ssh but got stuck when actually trying to run the lntop command.
Great video but tbh is advanced for me, Id love to do the telegram connection but I wouldn't be able its so technical for me. I am new just sat up my node last week on Umbrel
Hey! I totally get it, I was there a few months ago... but you will learn. There's pretty good explanations for BalanceOfSatoshi's on the Github I linked, and a FULL guide on Charge-LND for you, too (step by step) in the link I gave. It will take some tinkering and trial and error, but in time I'm sure you can get it :) I'll try to do some more guides in the future hopefully.
@@Bitcoinftm i watched your last 2 video twice and they are very informative and many thanks for the great work. It would be highly appreciative if you give us some time and do it with many thanks. A
