The True Cross saved my life a month ago when I was returning it in my car to its destination after public veneration that night. I am always off fast as soon as the lights go green, but this night I was so touched by the people who venerated it n what a special Mass Fr. B had done that i sat at the red light contemplating it that i had not realised the light had gone green, as i had no one behind me... well, i was awakened out of my day dreaming so to speak by a incrediblly fast 'swoosh ' sound! It was a car, and it had gone through the red light easily over a 100kms per hr. It was a violent swoosh. As i turned left seeing my light was green i realised that had i gone through as i do, i would have been killed instantly. My car would have been cut in two n launched. Not that i care about myself but i did care about the Cross relic. The first time i carry it n it saved my life. Sr. C.
@@stormrider1635 you will find that some major Cathedrals they will have a small splinter of the True Cross that St. Helena, mother of St. Constantine, emporer found. Sydney St Marys Cathedral has one as does a church here also. It must have Church documentation for it to be publically venerated ie: a coa (certificate of authentication) with unbroken wax seals n threads. As for where it was acquired, it is always via the Church, but unfortunately also on the net, many can be fakes. I am a religious and was carrying it to n back from its religious home for the first time to a parish for a solemn High Mass. I am grateful to our Lord that my life was spared, but as i said, i was more worried about the relic than my own skin. As to it whereabouts, i am not in a position to divulge it, as there are those who would love to steal n desecrate it. Curiousity is dangerous n one must accept our Lords Will n not seek to know more. God bless you all, and if you do find a church or Cathedral that will have veneration on the solemnity of the Triumph of the True Cross, please go. Oh, some of the church bishops etc may have a cross that opens and contains a small splinter of the True Cross. I too, have been learning much lately about relics that i never knew existed.
