And if it wasn't for the penalty we didn't look like scoring all night - without sonny (and with solanke on the bench) we looked really light up front. As for all this hype around Mikey moore well he's a talented kid for sure, but he's had a number of chances when he's played this season and hasn't converted any of them. For all his ability the lad's still got a lot to learn, and he doesnt look ready to start in the premier league. That he's a better option than werner isnt saying much - werner is approaching Grzegorz Rasiak proportions of uselessness.
Also, every show repeating the exact same things about Gray is getting really tiring. Ian will always refuse to acknowledge the need to get Gray and Bergvall out on loan. Dan, Stel, Savva, etc. will always say them 2 need to go on loan and develop. It’s the exact same argument every show. My god.

I agree wholeheartedly with you guys about Moore. Give him match time & he will blossom & flourish. I just worry slightly that Ange is not the manager to help him really achieve his best. But Moore is the best thing to happen at Spurs for me for ages!! COYS!!!
Hi stel & gang! Mikey was the only highlight yesterday , the result was the usual...should have scored more and confidence to Richie's pen...still long way to go! If mikey plays like that why not just play him especially in the Prem? All this he's too young I'S BS! Guy is ready to play let him play! Also watched the game against West ham & itsxthe pundits(commentators) who used words like brilliant, amazing, out of this world etc and the fans get caught up in the BS that pundits say rather than use their own opinions & thoughts! Basically we don't need commentators & pundits taking the kadoura out of spurs! Respect athelfe!
Been saying even before Timo joined us that he is a player that can cost you games. Now he is here and my thoughts still haven't changed. His misses and miss place passes will do exactly that
Ian just has that grandparent thing where he has to big up the kids all the time. How is playing Gray in the wrong position in some sparing European and cup games going to help him develop? He needs to play week in week out as a midfielder to develop properly. That won’t happen here with Bissouma, Bentancur, and Sarr around. He needs a loan, period. Us keeping him around just for squad depth will stifle his development.
If Ange bought Gray as a fullback Houston we have a problem. He's actually really bad at defending, so much so even AZ knew to target him. WAs speaking to some Leeds fans in the gym today, and they were all saying he's mustard, but as a 6, not as a fullback. Typical Ange, another daft decision.

Some people really lay it on heavy. Are we as good as city? Arsenal? Liverpool? Absolutely not. Have we closed the gap between us and the top clubs? Barely any if at all. But letting the second line play a full 90mins and scraping by against a lesser team is a good result. Starters rest, Werner situation becomes too obvious to ignore for our negligent owner, and the kids have these games to develop. We are moving in the right direction
Listening to this at 6.15am and the opening speech from Stel i 100% agree with i was at the match and mikey was top class yesterday. I was saying it on my way home he cost nothing but has shown more than odobert werner and he cost nothing. I wont mention johnson as he is scoring now and i WILL NEVER mention Sonny as Sonny is amazing. But Stel your bang on Moore must start before Werner. And Werner must never come on before Mikey.

Play Gray in midfield because he sure can't do it at the back - he is really woeful - so timid he looks completely out of his depth. An extremely expensive luxury we didn't want or need.
Werner is an utter joke and just keeps getting worse. His shots, if you can call them that, a 9year-old could get more power behind. But if you are Daniel Levy and you want to preside over a Banter Club there is no better player than Timo Werner. Solannke is our Emile Heskey!
