*Works so well **Fastly.Cool** that it only requires daytime operation until high temp and humidity are overnight. It is difficult to get to side filters, but back is easily accessible.*
That packaging tape is key. Air conditioning doesn’t blow cold air, it removed warm air. This process creates condensation which collects either inside the unit (like in portable air conditioners) or is pumped through a pipe to the exterior. The plugs on the back are removable to drain the condensation. Hope this helps people with this AC.
Some people don't drain there's for a month , some people don't drain it for a week, I've been drainng it every day I'm glad I don't have to do it constantly now
That middle clear plug has to be removed while using dehumidifier with a bucket behind it. If you don’t it will overfill the middle inside tray inside, fall to the lower tray(will leave rust stains on compressor and rust top pan). The lower tray will over fill and leak on the floor. Has a warning sign above the clear plug. Awesome machine.
I’m the back to the right bottom there’s a small slit you just slide to your right and there’s a second one inside it also on the right after you remove the first one it pulls out towards you the lower bottom plug he was talking about that he unscrewed is the drain plug un twist and pull the plug that’s inside
Two,2 filters I'm so excited thanks for all the comments it really helped. They said pull the 1st filter out and there's a smaller filter Hiding behind that
drying function is for dehumidifying and it take moisture out of the room. humidifier on the other hand does the opposite. humidifiers puts moister into winter dry room.
If the air is very moist, then the unit removes the moister from the cooled air. Its pretty humid here and my unit is leaking water on the floor. I bought it used and thought maybe a tube was missing.
I found one of those air-conditioning today in someone garbage is like new and work pretty cool, missing the window part, but I see i can make one, nice video
I have the same exact unit and it is fabulous I love it to death and it helps my whole house air conditioning unit so that it doesn't turn on as much. I don't mess around with that hose I put mine up on a nightstand and just made a box for it to go straight out the window
I’ve had the hardest time getting the vent hose to stay put!!! It’s hot in Colorado and this is a great unit except for that stupid vent!!! I’m going to get duct tape… ridiculous!!!
The white cap on the back of ac, we have a hose on it 2 drain the water n a fish tank 2 catch the water. There's a hole on the window piece on the left side. But we haven't figured out how to get the water to come out of the hose thru the window to drain outside. We keep getting a leak on the right side bottom.
In Florida mine always has to be emptied from humidity. It will turn off if it’s too full. Mine will shut off in the middle of the night when it is super humid.
Maciel Mancebo get a small hose that hooks up in the back the upper drain and let it drip into a small pan or small tub. Like the one you buy to soak your feet in. That's what I did.
Candace Jaquith mine is on a stand too but I connected a small hose that goes out the window. No dumping out water just a nice steady little drip outside.
I took care of my business mine is ready to go you add water but where I bought it at a yard sale for 60 bucks no instructions help thank you for sharing this video help 🤗🤗🤗💯🧚
Someone please reply! I am trying to use this with heat mode. does this heat the room? If i set it at 75,it only shows the current temperature of 60 and it is not increasing at all. it never reaches the set temperature. what am I missing?
Bought mine 2weeks ago and it's working perfectly. Before 2 minutes, the room is too cool and I have to off it again for some time.Is it because my room is small? Our rooms are small in New York but am enjoying the account.
When it’s 90° plus, it shuts down. Then we turn it back on and it’ll run for about a minute and shut down again, only when it’s that temperature or warmer. Why?
Thanks. Now I know why my whole floor and carpet is soaked:( i got it used from a friend and the drain plug was unscrewed which i didnt notice till now fml.
Hey my name is Israel I have the same kind of AC that you do. I actually found it. Right outside my alley i plugged it in and it worked. Air was blowing out through the front and it also was blowing out to the back on the bottom part and not the top where the hot air supposed to come ❤out from. Now the hot air comes out from ❤❤ where is it's supposetd to come out from now I can get the bottom to turn on. out from
I think so I haven't done it but it says right on the back when using in the dry mode remove the drain plug and exhaust hose from the back of the unit. And you have to then put a half inch inner dimension drain hose like so it can drain into a bucket or out the floor or something I have not done that yet
I have this unit. It is about 4 years old. I haven't used it in about 3 years. I have it all set up, and when I change temp it flashes a few times, then the readout goes back to what it was when I plugged it in. 84°. Don't know how to make it stay on what I set.
that depends how often you use it for constant use I would probably check it once a month to be safe the one we use i check it and did not even have 1 cup full more like closed to half a cup that was from using it for many month but i would still check to be safe also depends on what state you live in for ca, one a month if u live in a place with humidity i would check it often
True Aries *If you have the Same one as the video, you can use it with no worry, because when its full of water it will have a “FULL” Word showing where the number of the Temperature is, Cheers!*
Exactly that's what it says on mine I have this exact unit to remove the exhaust hose and install a drain hose was 1/2 inch inside diameter which you can run out the window or into a bucket
The guy is just like I don't know what is it for .. ! Why the heck you talking about something you ignore?! We get educated to educate people. I'm sure you'll do your best next time.
Im no expert but here are some tips that may help you #1 clean the filter #2 try draining the water #3 check if your hose is connected properly. and thats all i have for you.
Rachel Henderson just press the sleep button, move the up and down arrows and that’s it. It takes a couple of seconds to go back to the temperature but the timer is already set
in the back on the bottom right side pull it out side ways going to ur right then have second black filter bottom back front right side pull out going to ur chest it will look like a skinny black line it a small one
Bonjour j ai un petit problème, c est que le ventilateur de derrière n’arrête pas dans tous les modes, aussi si la température baisse, le ventilateur n'arrête pas. Cordialement
anyone know why the actual ac would stop blowing ? mine stays on but the cold air doesnt at this point its just a big fan. when i reset it from the button on the plug i can not only hear but feel the ac turn on and feel the cold air but it only last about 5 seconds before it turns of and goes back to regular warm air can anyone help me with this issue ?
Mine does that now too, it blows cold for a few minutes, then blows warm. Did you find out a solution? Last year it didn't have this problem. I'll try opening the drain plug, maybe it'll help, but the 'FL' (full of condensed water) warning light hasn't come on.
Can someone please explain how to change the temperature? I keep setting mine at 78 but it goes back to 81 and Im not sure if I'm supposed to set it and then press something
Mario Rodriguez yes you do. No matter what setting it will always fill up with water and it gets all gunky after a while. Check every month or so. Both plugs. Top and bottom. Drain into a small bucket. Not a big deal. Humidity is water it has to go somewhere.
NYDJRIO thank you that makes perfect sense I'm glad somebody knew what the plugs were for and not just what they were for but what they needed to do and when they needed to do it thank you very much needed advice information
“AROUND 3 FEET TALL” later: “so u probably r wondering how big this unit is...” (since i didn’t actually measure)..... soooooooooooooooo 😎 *puts assortment of household objects next to unit size* BAM! oh, all i’ll throw this one in for “gOoD mEaSuRe” 😉 “A SMALL CHILD, so like maybe a 3 year old” #accuracy #CEOofNotMeasuring #smallchild #IveNeverUsedThat
I just cleaned it and I use a hose to spray down the filters than I left them out in the sun dry them out. I used a pledge wipe to clean the sides and front and it worked really well. I got the wipes for wiping down wood.
@Jessica All you have to do is: Turn portable AC off. Remove the filter on from bottom of the back right side of the unit first then remove the second filter on the bottom right side. Remove loose dirt and particles. Rinse filter clean after removal from unit with water let dry then replace filters. Using a vacuum, clean out the air intake vents. Wipe down the outside housing.
@@latashajeffrey8141 I've done that. Vacuuming doesn't get very much. It really needs to be taken apart and cleaned. I've had it for 7 or 8 years, it still works great but I feel like it needs to be replaced because it can't be cleaned properly.
@Whisper McGaughy is it on Cool when that happens? If yes that's your current room temperature. Try turning the TEMP button down to 62° give a few and see if the temperature drops below 85°. If it's not on Cool it's normal Fan and Dry is set to your room temperature. The up and down TEMP button on the unit should adjust your temperature when it's on Cool without remote.
How are you gonna make a "how to use" video when you only have very basic knowledge... And you're video is Chuck full of "I don't knows" . 🤦 The only helpful part was when you showed part of the manual. If you could - just make a video of the manual for us... Page by Page. What I'm looking for is how to clean the air filters. 🤷
