they are called VW Estoril. Also came on the Golf mk2 Fire and Ice edition. one of the wheels has damage from the crash. have to sort that out at some point, but i really like them . this is the second set of these wheels that i have owned. wish i hadn't sold the previous ones

I didn't mind them. It was a chance for me to look at the car from underneath, but that was before 2020, now they don't allow you to watch during the inspection, only call you when they are done. A lot of people here also want inspections done every 2 years, but don't think that will ever happen. My mom's car just failed inspection because the winter tires thread was at the 4mm threshold. At least that is a good reason to do them annually, but I have failed before for dumb reasons and dumb inspectors, so I'm torn

@@pstreetgarage7304 We have an organization that does these. One place in town or city that only does inspections, no shop work done there. A few years back it there was an idea that qualified shops could do them too, but nothing has been done yet 🤷‍♂

Tādi nāk, kad pērk putekļu gumijas komplektu. Izrādās “komplekts” ir plika 1 gumija bez savilcējiem. Viens lielais pārplīsa pēc nedēļas. Uzliku tos pašus vecos metāla, ko noņēmu. Tievāksis gals vēljoprojām stilīgs dzeltens

The engine ARL is the 1.9 tdi 150cv of the golf mk4 😊

@@gerrypiccirillo651 I'm not in a hurry to swap it. But when I do, I will look for a turbo diesel engine block that has the same mounting holes present, so I don't have to modify the existing engine mounts. The ARL could have them, who knows.

I know they look good on a mk1. one of our local mk1s ir ruining them, polished. They look really nice. Not sure what wheels i'll use next on the mk1 golf, it's currently on tiny r13 wheels with stock tyre size

What happened to your bbs on your mk1 golf diesel

@@gerrypiccirillo651 bad roads and potholes. one of the wheels is bent and leaking air. and they all need a refresh

I reckon you have to find a set of golf g60 alloys for you mk1 diesel looks even much great !! Or pirelli alloys but there are very rare to find
