My husband told me I looked fancy going to ALDIs with him. I had on jeans, a graphic tee and my fav denim jacket like yours, crossbody cute purse and jewelry…guess I learned from a pro…love that blue dress..all cute upgrades outfits. It has been about ten degrees cooler here too for May. My hubby happy..he hates hot weather. ❤❤❤❤

I love the unfrumpy look but in Fl putting on a demin jacket would not be worth it. I’ll go with frumpy..at 70 I’ve worn tshirts and jeans/shorts all of my life. Even if I looked good with shirt tucked in with a belt I’ve never felt the need for my lifestyle. That being said I do appreciate seeing women who put in the effort to put on make up and classy dress accessories. Hell I even ditched bras most of the time the day I retired!

I will never embraced most of these and I will stick with neutrals for the most part. You are right that they never go out of style and I have always looked at peolpe who criticize them as being a bit lacking upstairs. I avoid red for the most part but just wore a classic dress and jacket (most expensive dress suit I ever bought) to my neice's wedding in Ireland. I had bought this suit for my sister's wedding 28 years ago. It has never gone out of style.
