Steam I think needs an Xbox 360 compatible controller. This won't work with steam. It works with other emulators though.

kenVersus Actually it works with a few different types of controllers including the pro controller and I believe the DS4. Ds3 might be an issue though I guess.

+zombee38 it's definitely a nice feature since it's metal and and very sturdy. And with upgrades it's just as good as any arcade fighting stick on the market. I've seen some arcade sticks costing $200 alone with no Pandora's box.

Hi, I would say yes. Most of them will behave this way. Usually there is 2 USB ports, and one of them will be active. Just test each one of them out.

I just got a Pandora's Box 11 Plus and it only connects to my PC if I plug it in and turn on the power. Which is obviously a pain because if i use it as a controller, it's also running games on pandora's box while I'm trying to use it as a PC controller. I think I'm going to return it.

@@cesarperez1897 no, but up be fair, I didn't spend any time trying to figure it out yet. I still would like to know how to do this though. If you find something, I'd love to know your findings.

@@janX9 I went into settings and put it in testing buttons mode, that way it's just stuck in that screen and doesn't affect the Pandora itself

Try a different computer. Try windows 7 or windows 10. See if it works

Probably not.

I should get detected in windows. If not try a different computer a different cable. maybe the usb on your PB isn't working. There a ton of different PB and not all are created equal.

I realize that I'm replying to a 3 month old thread but I had the exact same issue as you did. Plugging in the usb alone does not pick up at all. So here is how it is currently working for me: -USB connected to PC -Power cable connected and turn on** **You may want to go into settings of Pandora 9 and turn off the on-board sound. This usually does the trick, but I experienced some random disconnections still, if you also get random disconnect on PC, what worked for me was to plug in the HDMI cable into the TV (my smart TV doubles as both the PC display and Pandora 9 display since I have two HDMI ports on TV). After doing that I don't get any random disconnections while using it as a controller on my PC. It sounds ridiculous since there's probably a game playing randomly in the background you can't see while my PC display is on, but this is the only way I got it to work as a controller.

@@rafeeqalexander Good info. I just got one that needs to be powered on too. I'm not sure about random disconnections yet though, as I just got it. I'm a little pissed that it needs to be running.

Debes conectar el tablero arcade a tu PC W7 o W10 mediante Cable Usb y actualiza los drives en forma manual o automática. Debería aparecerte el Controlador de juego de los Player 1 y 2.

The usb is not for loading games.

Maybe an update broke it. Try it with another pc or os

I actually figured it out with a stupid solution I didn’t even think about .. had turned on the Pandora’s box before turning on the PC and for some reason that was messing it up .. thanks for the response though .. very informative vids

Kidz Nation, can you help me out? My pandora box 5 will only work on the pc when my power cord and my pandora box is on. Do you use your pandora box only with the usb?

No you don't have to power it on. Just a USB cable is enough

On my PB 11 Plus I have to turn it on. so the box is running while trying to use it as a controller on my PC. Clearly and issue there.

Not all pandora boxes are created equal. Lots of clones out now.

Mine seems to be a clone, but works on PC and ps3 when I also power the unit on. Lame, but it works.

@@iheartdonut did you find a solution for this? I'm on the same page. Mine only works if I power on the arcade.

@@MrOrcen I never found a solution, but mine also doesn't seem to be able to store scores in memory. So having it run in the background while playing on a PC shouldn't hurt anything.

@@iheartdonut Same here, I have to power mine on, It's a Pandora's Box 11 Plus (Moonlight Treasure Box) with 3003 Games. Any problems with using it as a PC controller this way? Has it messed anything up on the Pandora's Box? I wonder if it's some sort of clone.

Might be. It's been a few months since I posted this video. There should be other models on the same site I linked to in the description.

Get the 6S model, I just picked up one on eBay for $100 free shipping. There are tons of them on there, Amazon has a few too but they are a little more expensive. Make sure to contact the seller first to confirm what model they have. There are too many clones of these arcade sticks/consoles floating around. I was super lucky to get a nice one.
