This klremitexchange exchange rate is also good. The location is at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur 2F, very convenient. (It takes less than 20 seconds to get in from Pavilion KL - Bukit Bintang Entrance)

Can I choose non-dcc transaction at May bank atm? As an example, I have come across a dcc transaction option at a Japanese atm, but I can choose not to use DCC.

Yes, MayBank allows non-dcc, I have done it. But CIMB Bank canceled my transaction after I chose non-dcc. So, I guess, MayBank should work for you.

Try using Public Bank ATM. They did not even offer DCC. I liked that.

Hi. When in Malaysia, preferably use the ATM of Public Bank. In India, you can take Malaysian currency from any money changer.

@TELUGUINFO-ez1zi Malaysia ATM will not charge any fee. But your card issuing bank will charge regular ATM usage fee in foreign country. Just remember to say no to Dynamic Currency Conversion, and try using Public Bank ATM.

I’m coming from New Zealand for a stop over for 13 hours then I’m catching a flight later that night. and I’m wanting to take out $200 NZD which atm would be best for me , I’ve got a tour in Malaysia

@shemadevolution3920 Look for an ATM from "Public Bank". That bank's ATMs always give me good service without any DCC scam. Another thing, avoid CIMB Bank because their ATMs are the worst.

@shemadevolution3920 I just checked the airport's website. According to the information there, KLIA does have a Public Bank ATM in the Departure Hall (Level 5). Arrival Level has Maybank and Am Bank ATMs. You may try those, but be careful about DCC. If they offer DCC, choose No. And if you are arriving at KLIA-2, you will find Maybank ATM on the Arrival Level. And about Cairo, I don't have that info.

@kantuma1306 If you have a debit card enabled for international transactions, then you can use it to withdraw cash from an ATM in Malaysia. Please check with your card issuing bank for details of charges, etc.
