Hi friend. When leaving Thailand, the immigration officer sees your boarding card and passport. If you are going to a country other than Ethiopia, then they may ask for Visa status for that country. No other docs or copies are needed.
Cash in hand must be 2200 Thai currency for quick visa and 12200 currency I can show on bank statement or should I keep that on cash? i am holding ethiopian passport
@hagosteklay6338 The visa fee has to be paid in cash in Thai currency only. About the funds, it can be in Thailand currency or an equal amount in another popular currency. As per my experience, at the fast track counter, they do not ask about funds. But if they ask, you will have to show currency only. A bank statement will not work.
@tf628 I just saw the website. It is 199 Baht for 30 days. 15 GB data at max speed, no domestic calls and no call credit. Still not a bad deal to use for data only.
@mohammedhashir109 Many times, they don't ask about hotel reservations. But if they get a doubt, and ask for it, then a visitor will have to show hotel reservations for the entire stay in Thailand. You may, however, book hotels with "pay later - free cancellation" option which is available on Agoda and Goibibo/MakeMyTrip for select hotels.
Thanks for this video. We're a family of 04, I have good travel history but rest of the members have a fresh passport. We are traveling to KL for 2 days and then traveling to Phuket from there. Should we just arrive there for Visa with documents or is there anything else needed to be done for fresh passports?
If I have already travelled to Thailand in June and gone to another countries and want to come back to Thailand again but my 30 days visa is no more valid still can I again entry visa free there and stay for more exploration with it?
@Akku_Alka Multiple entry is allowed under the visa free policy as long as it is for genuine travel purpose, and you are arriving at a Thai international airport. They will allow another 30 days when you go to the immigration counter.
Hi. At DMK, there are only bank operated exchange counters where exchange rates are bad. I have posted a video on those here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8spOMIKnNUk.html
Thank you. Do we need to do any pre travel formalities in India? Like for Sri Lanka we need to fill in some details online in a portal. Anything similar for Thailand?
Hi. There is no restriction on entry via an airport. But when entering via land border, they restrict the number of times one can enter. It is perhaps twice in a year, but please check online.
@shikhathakur8613 In Malaysia, they accept debit and credit cards as proof of funds. However, it is better to carry some currency as well. A popular currency equal to 500 USD in value, per person, is good for a short duration trip.
I want to go to Siem Reap via road from Bangkok do I need Cambodia Visa and also while coming back what is the visa process of Thailand reenter from Cambodia please let me know
Hi. I think Cambodia offer visa on arrival. Please check on Google. While coming back, you will get visa free entry to Thailand, but when entering via land border, there maybe a limit on the number of times you can enter in a year. Otherwise, at the Cambodia-Thailand border, you have to clear immigration only. The same process as at an airport.
Sir I am going to Malaysia from Thiruvananthapuram On my return I am coming from Malaysia to Trichy, will there be any problem in immigration? Trv to kul (malasian airlines) Kul to trz (airasia)
Hello, thank you for the video. I have some questions 1. We are 4 people with 4 large luggage (26') is it possible take one taxi together include all of us? 2. Except airport surcharge 50 baht and baggage surcharge, should we pay another service fee (we arrive the airport about 2:00)?
@tsaimcqueen6415 What I can suggest is, at first, take a token for a large taxi and see how it goes. If the driver is able to fit your bags, then all good. Otherwise, you have to go back to the service counter to get the token cancelled. Then take two large cabs. The fare difference between a sedan and a large taxi is just 5 Baht. About service fee, no, only the airport surcharge of 50 Baht and luggage surcharge, if applicable, is to be paid. There is no night charge.
Can you book a one way trip from the airport if youre at suvarnabhumi airport when you land for your departure on lets say 20th june? And lets say you land on tbe 12th june can you book it on that day ahead?
@AlviIslam-ou1ki I asked this question at the Jomtien Bus Station. They said, at the counter you can book three days in advance, but on the company website, it is possible to book ahead for a longer period. I can't share any website address in these comments, but if you leave a comment on my website, I will do that. The link to my website is in the description.
@AlviIslam-ou1ki That is what I said. At the bus ticket counter, they may not allow booking more than three days in advance, but at the bus company's website, it is possible.
@AlviIslam-ou1ki See my video description. In there is my website link. Go to the website and write a comment on any article. The comment needs manual approval, so wait for some time. I will approve it and reply with the bus company's website link.
@Lajterica If you are staying at a friend's place, you can write his address. But you will need to arrange for an invitation letter from your friend. This letter will have your friend's name, address, phone number, and residence status in Thailand. The letter will also have your name, address, passport number, and dates of stay in Thailand.
Hi I live in the UK and having UK BRP residency card with Indian passport. So can I get visa on arrival with that? Are they only concerned about Indian passport?
If i enter in Thailand on 8th nov and Return on 15 th nov Do i need to pay for visa on arrival because i will return after nov 11 ? Or am i eligible for visa free visit?
@bharatapanigrahy3096 If you enter Thailand on or before Nov 11, 2024, you will get visa free entry and can stay for 30 or 60 days from the date of entry. I believe, from June 1, 2024, they have increased the maximum stay for visa free entry to 60 days.
@Akku_Alka You are right. They announced the 60-day policy but did not implement it. I entered Thailand on 20th June, and they allowed me 30 days only.
@@desiyatri thank you bro for the reply. Another question i have is regarding hiring local bike. Can i book without international driving licence? And will traffic police catch tourist without international license?
@souravmitra3619 The legal position about the requirement of an international driving license to hire bikes in Thailand is not clear, but it has already become a scam. Thai traffic police are imposing fines on tourists using bikes without international driving license. This fine is a minimum of 1000 Baht and you have to go to the nearest police station to pay the fine. Another problem with those bikes is that the bike owner does not buy any insurance. The person renting the bike takes all the risk, including third-party risk.
@anvesh9033 Many times they don't ask visitors to show money, but when they do ask, a bank statement in any currency will not be accepted. They will insist on currency which can be Thai Baht or another popular currency.
I have a credit card and have enough funds in it. How do I show the credit limit on that credit card during immigration to show that I have sufficient funds.
@RoshanShanbhag Malaysia immigration accept credit and debit cards as proof of funds. And they ask about funds only when they have a doubt about the visitor. Generally, they do not ask. However, I still suggest that you carry some currency while traveling to Malaysia. That currency can be MYR or SGD or another popular currency that can be converted to MYR after arrival into Malaysia. That way, if someone asks about funds, you can show the currency you have along with your cards.
