1. Open a presentation or create a new presentation. 2. Select the slide where you want to insert the songs from the left pane. 3. Click the "Insert" tab and then click the "Audio" button in the Media group to open the Insert Audio window. 4. Select the song that you want to add to your slide and click "Insert" to add it to the slide. 5. Click and drag the song to reposition it on the slide. 6. Click the "Playback" tab and select "Automatically" in the Start box to play the song automatically when you get to its slide, or select "Play across slides" to play the song from the beginning to the end of your presentation. If you select the "Loop until Stopped," the song will loop until you stop it. The "Hide During Show" option enables you to play a song in the background and not display it on your slides. 7. Click the "Insert" tab and click the "Audio" button again. Select the second song and click "Insert" to add it to the same slide. To add a song to another slide, first select the second slide from the left pane and then insert the song. 8. Add as many songs as you need, to any of the slides in your presentation, and then press "Ctrl-S" to save the presentation.
On the Insert tab, select Audio, and then Audio on My PC. In the file explorer, browse to the music file you want to use, and then select Insert. With the audio icon selected on the slide, on the Playback tab, select Play in Background.
Hey buddy here we go: step 1: In Normal view, click the video frame on the slide that you want to play full screen. step 2: Under Video Tools, on the Playback tab, in the Video Options group, select the Play Full Screen check box.
Hiya! I’m planning on making a playable game in PowerPoint, so naturally I started making an OST or soundtrack for it. The one problem I’m facing is uncertainty on playing the music through certain slides instead of all of them. I know you can probably just insert the audio for the multiple slides individually, but I don’t want the music to start playing on one slide beginning the start of the level, but then jumping back to the beginning of the song on the next slide. In otherwords, I want the song to loop across multiple slides smoothly without jumping back to the beginning, and then stopping as soon as the level is completed. Is there a way you can somehow do that? Or does it do that automatically? I just don’t want to make an entire OST for the game only for it to not play the way I want it to. Thanks!
Insert and select your music file on your first slide. Open the Playback tab. Check Loop Until Stopped. Check Play Across Slides. Set the Start to play Automatically.
@@SoftwareKeep Alrighty! I’m still planning everything out and brainstorming how the levels are going to work, possibly calculating combinations on where the player can move, stuff like that. I figured powerpoint would be best since i can easily work with it and its less limited than google slides. I’ll try to keep everything updated. Thanks a lot!
I'm making a presentation with background music and all is working well so far, but I have a slide with a video in it and I'm trying to find a way to pause the background on this slide only and then have it continue from the same spot on the next slide. I thought about just stopping the musing with the stop after __ slides on the affect option menue and just add the audio with a bookmark on the next slide, but I can't get the timing right and it's noticable. is there a way to do it?
