Tip: When Aurora has that freezing passive, her level indicator will have some ice around it, pretty much like Yin's fire in ult (Lieh) form. Unless they've removed it, but I'm almost sure the video in question is kinda outdated; because, if I remember correctly from some RU-vidrs updates regarding Aurora's revamp, her 2nd skill also freezes enemies in the closest area, but that far area of it will deal extra damage.

Honestly, it’s bad. I used to play her, and her second skill was literally a point and click frozen, and her first skill was a long ranged snipe. Now they nerfed her hard. As someone who used to main her, so many champs (especially mages) are getting reworks that ruin them completely.
