✨Today I suggest you watch a video tutorial on how to install Windows 11 on any external USB drive, I will use a USB flash drive with a capacity of about 32 GB.
After the end of the process, you can connect this USB flash drive to any computer, and Windows 11 will work from this USB flash drive, even if the computer does not have a working C drive, and you need to restore it, remove viruses from the operating system, or transfer important data from a locked computer, if you forgot your Windows password.

why cant i use rufus in win2go? always error message. i created an wintogo usb drive and thats working but.. once booted in 2go rufus errors .. is it bcos its sdcard or usb? on hdd or ssd it works fine.. any way solving this ?.. ( solved) i had had controlled folder acces enabled.. after disabling it rufus works fine. My mistake

Can you use bitlocker with a setup like this? Or are there other encryption options? Maybe Veracrypt? Also, does windows 11 have tpm issues this way if the machine you're using doesn't have one?

1. Yes, Bitlocker works in such Windows too. 2. If the computer is not supported by Windows 11 on which you will use Windows to Go, then it will be impossible to install Windows 11 on an external drive. 3. Very helpful I hope even though it’s slower I can still animate with relative ease on this external hdd drive. If anyone has had a experience with that let me know.

Yes, after this installation option, Windows is slower, but sometimes only this option is in great demand.

This method does NOT work when using Windows 7 Ultimate to create the Win 11 ext. drive installation. This only works if you are using a Win 11 PC/laptop. You cannot use Rufus to create this USB while on Win 7.

You bcz officially that option is just available for windows 10 and 11 only but still you can do it by another software named as wintogo, it will work

the process of creating the image took 15 mints on your computer, on my computer it is about 1 hour and half still 28% finished, why is that ?

On my computer the process took much longer than 15 minutes. Installing Windows on an external drive takes longer because a USB connection transfers information at a slower speed than a SATA cable. The speed of the process also depends on the power of the computer, and the higher the processor power, the faster Windows will install.

Try removing this Rufus, then remove it from "Recycle Bin" and restart your computer. After that, download Rufus to your computer again from the download page and try to start the process from the very beginning. ps. I hope that you clicked "Yes" when you first started Rufus in a message from the program for consent to download updates for Rufus.

If you took a hard drive with Windows from another computer and now want to connect it to your MAC to boot Windows from the old drive, then most likely you will not succeed. In order for Windows to boot from an external drive on a MAC, the OS must be created using Windows to Go.

Now I need to copy it from the flash drive to a spare hard drive so it won't be slow slow, can you please suggest a program that will do that? Microsoft has (of course) made these files impossible to copy. Thank you for your videos.

I installed Windows to Go to a portable SSD awhile ago and now I'm having issues with Windows Update not working. I tried to repair the installation and the USB drive I installed from originally says it can't repair a portable Windows (Windows to Go) installation so I'm stuck. Do you know how to repair a portable Windows installation?

@@daskywarsboi2913 This is an old comment, but updates did work initially and then stopped at some point. I was never able to get it fixed and ended up just reinstalling a non-Windows to Go installation.

Hi, i am using 64gb simmtronics pendrive for this with MBR but it takes me a lot of hour i don't know but after 6hrs of time it gets around 52 percent and after 1.5hr or 7.5hrs it get only 53 percentage i don’t know why rufus doing this if anybody know the problem, I cancel it after this. Pls help me 😢

You need to force restart the computer, then format the USB drive and start the process from the very beginning. Perhaps this will solve the problem.

@@vincence_8189 Hi! It's difficult for me to pinpoint this problem from a distance. 1. Perhaps something in the Rufus settings does not correspond to the external flash drive. If the external flash drive is an MBR, then in the Rufus settings you also need to select an MBR: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BPdumnTv2R0.html 2. If on your laptop your drive C is JPT, then you convert the external flash drive to JPT and, accordingly, select JPT in Rufus, then the problem will probably be solved. An MBR disk can be converted to JPT using a free application: minitool-partition-recovery.en.uptodown.com/windows/download/15012213. Perhaps the Windows 11 ISO file is made with a defect in one of the Windows files - try deleting it and downloading a new ISO onto your laptop.

Alrt thanks, also why choose "Windows to go" and not "standard windows installation". What's the difference? Also Rufus is giving me the option to "prevent Windows To Go from accessing internal disks" should I tick it or not

When you install Windows on an external drive, after that you can connect this USB to any other PC, run this PC with Windows on an external drive, open the disks of this PC and use all the data of this PC without any problems. But if you check the box "deny Windows To Go access to internal drives", then when you connect an external usb to another PC, you will not be able to access data on the disks of this PC.

Yes, that's right, that's why such actions are called "hack PC". But if you are going to store important information for you, you can connect additional and completely reliable protection for free - this is Bitlocker. The only thing that prevents users from connecting this kind of protection is, for example, if you lose your password from Bitlocker, you will 100% lose access to your PC and also lose all your data on your PC.

@@ipMalik is it possible to bypass or remove bitlocker encryption if someone has it enabled on their pc ?? how would i know if someone has bitlocker protection on their device . ( i dont wanna look like a fool for trying this method on someone's pc with bitlocker to look cool ). if someone's pc is already signed in through admin then can i remove bitlocker and then use that ''pc hack method" to remove password ?? and what about those whose pc isnt even signed in ? no chance ??

@@na2co312 1. It is impossible to bypass Bitlocker encryption, or rather, it is possible to do this, but only with the help of special programs that I know nothing about. Professional hackers and military specialists probably have such programs. 2. After turning on the PC, a window first appears where you need to enter the Bitlocker password and only after that the lock screen opens where you need to enter the Windows password. If you open the registry editor on your PC via cmd, and in the "This PC" window you will see a Windows disk with a lock icon, this means that the C drive is encrypted by Bitlocker.

Apparently you are talking about a bootable Windows USB flash drive, but this is completely different. Using a bootable Windows USB flash drive, Windows is installed on a PC, but in this video I tell you how to install Windows on an external USB drive.

@@ipMalik Then in theory I should be able to install it on a small SSD and use it that way permanently. I'm having serious problems with a Lenovo i5 i6500, nothing seems to work and this is my main computer. All the others I did were easy.

@@ipMalik Thank you, this has become a challenge. I have 6 computers, 4 were easy but two used Lenovo i5 6500 business machines have defied all my efforts. Solving it is half the fun. You can buy these beautiful 5 year old machines for Just under $100 here in Thailand and they are bulletproof. I have them hooked to 50 and 55 inch TVs I use as monitors.

Did u try the earlier two methods without USB flash drive , I also forgot my password but deleted it using the 1st method to open command prompt .. it worked
