Molto utile, grazie. Difficile capire le prime volte l'audio veloce, ma tutto chiaro con quello più lento e riascoltandolo più volte, come consigliato. Utilissima la connecting speech. Resti il migliore!

Il primo ascolto era difficilissimo, se non impossibile, il secondo invece mi è stato chiarissimo, ho capito tutto senza difficoltà. Spero proprio che nessuno "osi" parlare a uno straniero con la velocità usata nel primo dialogo :(

Good job, Joe!...I don't have any problems understanding the less fast version of the video clips, but I've come to the conclusion the only native speakers can understand such fast dialogues! Instead of "I'll have a look on the system for you" I understood "I'll have to call an assistant for you"!

Thank you so much Jo. In general after the fast one I understood the meaning of the entire dialogue but I didn't catch some words. Instead the second time it was easier and I understood everything. Great excercise and you are a wonderful teacher!

This video is perfect for people who keep saying that American people are lazy or take shortcuts. Way to many English students in Italy think that what they learn is what they will have one they land in Heathrow. Connected speech exists in British English, Canadian, American English, Australian English... And actually also in French, Spanish, Italian.

Thx very much Joe. It won’t be ever enough what you do for all of us . Perhaps I had a slight abash in the middle of the second conversation. However, I’ve never heard this term “fortnight”, or at very least I didn’t bear it in mind at all whether I did or not, anyway. Concerning everything else, it was great by and large at the first attempt though and I haven’t had a such difficulty to cope with these kinda dialogues. Maybe I missed “barcode” In all honesty I should regain British slangs as well as idioms in order to be much more fluent and spontaneous at English again like in the old golden days when I had been living in England, as I could eat both for breakfast as long as I resided above there.
