This is a film showing Boeing 747 Freighters coming & going.
The Boeing 747 became known as the ‘Queen of the Skies’. Boeing produced 1,574 'Queens' for more than 50 years with the last one rolling out in December 2022.

I have a fond memory of my dad and I touring the first Cathay Pacific 747 to land in Vancouver. I think it was 1969 or 1970. It was the start of my life long interest in transportation; from airplanes to ships to cars to ancient and modern transportation routes and navigation.

I flew first class in a 747 back in 1970, traveling alone from Chicago to LA. I was so intimidated by everything, (I was 15) I never went upstairs to see the first-class lounge.

+J. D. Even steerage class in jumbos was nicer then than what we have now with Premium Economy and Economy Plus.
