The cost of flying has significantly increased since 2019 and the constant point devaluation only exacerbates the problem. I am flying from Seoul to Fukuoka Japan one way and paid 171$ cuz 80$ weird cheap airline website looked fake, so I just paid double with Korean Air to not deal with BS. Then when you talked about your example from Seoul, I just checked delta , also 7500 miles + 20$ fees in economy! Normally delta miles are 1.2c per point but the redemption is 2c per point! Literally 60% over the value. Your short literally saved me $150, thank you thank you thank you!!! Exactly why I’m in the credit card game, saves me so much time with flying instead of train + ferry from Busan AND saves me a lot money, win win win!!!
