“Don’t make a mistake buying a cheap gaming chair, buy one with a different logo but won’t help you any more ergonomically” like slapping logos on a chair
There is no such thing as an "ergonomic chair".. sitting is per definition NOT ergonomic and no matter what you sit on, your back will hate you. What you want to do is ,STAND up and stop "gaming" like a virgin lossr.
I feel like a good quality Office Char is the best kind of "Gaming Chair", since the product itsel is longer in the game than the "Gaming Chair" Industry, I mean at my office, I have a chair an office chair, zero names on it, but damn that thing is great to sit in no back issues nothing I have to remind myself to stand up every now and then, because it is so damn comfortable
No because if you get a cheap office chair that uses oil in the pump to adjust the height of the chair it can explode and a 14 year old died because of it
@@TURKYLEG nah that only happens with extremely cheap and shady gas pistons. Besides, every time office chair that is able to adjust up and down has one of those. It depends on the quality of the piston
"Gaming chairs are crap. Try an actual office chair for better quality & support. A *Sidiz T50* for $400 beats all those overpriced uncomfortable "gaming" chairs.
I dont know how much you know about the Body.. but since your hipflexors are the most Common Problem in Terms of lower backpain, it will still tighten Up your iliopsioas. There is a Balance needed.
@@94fleetwood49 i like the high back on the gaming chairs. i was looking up high back office chairs and for whatever reason, even the ones labeled big and tall had too short of backs for people that were only 5' 10" according to the reviews. i saw one labeled high back with a head rest and people who are under 6' said the head rest was positioned between their shoulders and very uncomfortable there. you'd think if they're going to label a chair big and tall you'd be able to find one that would match people 6' or taller, but i've been unable to. at least the xl gaming chairs are actually designed to fit people 6' or taller. and despite all of you office chair people, i've seen a lot of people say these $300 gaming chairs like the kaiser 3 are very comfortable to sit on for long periods.
Found an heavy duty office chair from like 40-50 years ago. Best game chair. It's heavy as hell and the height adjustment is weird but it is comfy and doesn't seem to get worn out. Plus it's bottom heavy enough that you can recline like 55° backwards *fast* and not tip.
anytime somebody says what sounds like the full amazon listing name or include the "premium gaming chair" part, 8 times outta 10 they are full of it. not to mention amazon affiliate links allow them to make money off the advertising without being officially sponsored. so be careful. everyones trying to sell you something, its up to you to do your own research, you can still use videos like this to find multiple different brands and features so you can choose which one you think is the best for you. because nobody knows your body like you do.
Facts. I had lower back pain after using for a year. Had to go to the quiropractor 🤦. my posture was already bad and those cheap gaming chairs beat the hell out my lower back. buy something with support guys.
Law only applies if the company is paying him for the ad, otherwise he’s just doing affiliate marketing so he can get paid via people using his link to buy the chair which then gives him money per use on the link. If he gets 10% per link use and the chair is $700 that’s $70 per person if 1000 people bought that he could luck out on $70k
@@bloink3511 no but the point is unless it’s under contract and being paid directly from the company he doesn’t have to disclose anything. This is just simple affiliate marketing. Very simple money maker, imagine making some lame video getting say something crazy like 2000 people to use your link, you just made $140k of affiliates, probably like $100k after tax.
I had a mesh seat on my last chair and i hated it. I felt like it sat so unevenly because of the mesh. I bought a secret lab chair but i really want to return it
Had that exact chair the downx one they suck. But all gaming chairs(racer style) suck in my opinion. Get a herman miller, steel case, hayworth and never look back
True A good number of people won't even look at those due to a hefty price tag on the new ones, so was trying to find an alternative. Personally, I might pull the trigger on those chairs and make a separate video
@@UndergroundTech BTOD does Refurbished ones for a very good price with an amazing warranty, they also show the full restoration process on their RU-vid. I've bought a Steel case Amia for myself and a leap v2 for my wife. For both I believe was around 1000$ which fot 2 high quality chairs that come with warranties that will outlast 10 of those cheap chairs it's worth it if you can swing it. 👍
I've just unboxed and tried my new HBADA E3 Ergonomic pro chair for £449 but when going on the website it changes from American to UK website and I saw it say $449 so it's not like you benefit from either place. It's very comfortable and granted you're paying for the name /the quality that comes with it but it doesn't have the names slapped onto it in big bold writing it's very subtle but yeah what really matters is that it is the most comfortable chair I've sat in as it offers a full range of adjustment and even a foot rest which I think adds £$50 to the price as they do sell the same chair without the footrest but I'd highly recommend the footrest option. Check them out as they're a great investment particularly if you're sat up to a desk for a while like I will be with my homework for college😬😂
"don't buy a gaming chair like this one" as I am sitting down watching this video, in a gaming chair like that one... with the exact same complaints lmao. horrible back pain from dowinx chair after about 1 or 2 years having this chair.
That stinks man, i hope you get something better. Office chairs are also a great option as theyre not always too expensive(unless if you're looking at new herman millers)
quick tip: just buy a regular office chair, they are comfortable as fuck and cost like nothing. Also all corporate drones sit on them 8 hours a day and these chairs are still alive after 5+ years 👍
I once bought a chair and there was absolutely no cushion on the back which eventually led to the metal bars poking through and the leather (fake?) started cracking it is bad
The irony is I bought a $130 gaming chair with a leg rest because I need to keep my legs up when I sit yet my back hurt so much after less than an hour. I found an office chair on the sidewalk, brought that shit home, bolted the leg rest to it, and bam, a better experience. Trends suck.
Guys if you want a good gaming chair don't buy anything shown in this video. Just buy a good office chair. Those are actually designed to be sat on for long periods of time and I have a office chait just as good ad the one in the video that I bought for 30 bucks. Save yourself the effort and time, just buy a office chair. Gaming chairs literally use bucket seating which was literally designed for race cars so the driver doesn't get juggled in the car. And its not built for comfortability. Just buy a office chair guys and assemble it at home. Not that hard.
I went from a high end gaming chair (same oem as secretlab) to a Herman Miller Aeron, and the difference is night and day. Build quality is much much much better, ergonomics are better, adjustability is better, its breathable, etc.
I have an nice comfy couch chair that ive been using for years. Yeah i might now be able to move the chair but my goodness ive gone almost a complete day gaming and my butt was not sore nor my legs.
I got the same chair in the first clip but just rebranded and it lasts 1/2 years max before leaning forward and the cushions are non existent. Please buy a high quality chair
I just bought a really good office chair, the ones with the mesh on the back. Best type out there. Dont buy gaming chairs at all. Unless you get a $500+ one which is just wasting your money
I couldn't find a comfortable gaming chair so I gave up and put a Purple brand mat on a cheap chair and now it is the most comfortable chair I have ever owned. Plus the mat I can move to the next cheap chair I buy. The back rest is usually fine even on cheap chairs it is just where your @$$ makes contact is the problem. Just fix the problem, don't buy an entire new chair.
I 1000% agree with everyone who is saying “don’t buy a gaming chair at all”. Gaming chairs are gimmicks and they do NOTHING for your back, legs or neck. My back problems have only gotten worse since I purchased and started using a $400 “gaming” chair. I would have been better off with a Serta or Lazy Boy office chair for $170.
If you're spending countless hours sitting in a chair, the best chair in the world isn't going to solve your problems. Humans are meant to move around. If you spend a long amount of time in any position your body is not going to like it. Buying a better chair isn't going to do anything in the long run. You need to stand up and move.
I owned a cheap gaming chair and using a secret lab chair. Gotta say for the price tag of the secret lab chair its a big let down. However the cheap gaming is like 1/4 of the price and lasted pretty long. After a year of the secret lab chair the armrest is starting to tear already.
