Hi, forgot to mention one big important thing with trying to reset Windows 10 with Cortona. When you get to the service agreement and Cortona asks you if you accept the agreement, and you try to say yes to Cortona, the installation will not go on. You will have to enable Narator if you havn't got it currently running. Just thought I'd offer this advice for any blind person attempting to repair their laptop for the first time.
Please Help Me...... I just did a reset on my laptop by choosing Fully Clean Drive, after its resetting and installation of Windows has been done, it's asking for Time and Zone again and again, Even after I clicked the Next button several times it Restart s again and not opening up.... Please Help Me.

Idk bro, mine can't get to 100%, it just take 5 or 10 minutes(less than 30%) and then get me to the "Choose an option", basically the same thing that you did in the begining of the video, and then when I try it again "Reset PC" it gives me a message that says "There was a problem resetting your PC", how in hell does reseting a PC was this hard???
@@charleyyx4420 The only way I did it is with a USB with windows tool, then click on format disk that works for me :s, anyways thanks for the info, I didn't know that.

I chose the Remove Everything option, waited for 4 hours then I encountered this message: "a configuration change was requested to clear this computer's TPM (Trusted Platform Module). Warning: Clearing the erases information stored on the TPM. You will lose all created keys and access to data created by these keys. Press F12 to clear the TPM Press Esc to reject this change request and continue." Which option should I choose? Thank you.
@@rantduos1700 bro do not factory reset your laptop .. it will remove your window, I have done that and then i have to pay 2500 to intall a new window... its better if u have any problem u can go to computer expert he/she will guide u about the problem and rest the choice is yours
I was in the middle of doing this install and yes it was plugged in but for some reason it shut off in the middle. When I turn it on it gives a message of preparing - then it says the Computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error, windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows, click OK to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. Then I click ok and it just restarts and back to this same message 😭
when im doing the "resetting this pc" with the windows logo it will kick me back out midway through, nd take me to the blue troubleshoot screen with the options as if it cancelled the process or something. Any ideas why?
My laptop has been resetting for 3 days now (Stuck on 99%), im trying hard to be patient and not touch it, but do you have any suggestions on what i can do? will turning it off stop the resetting process? (the purpose of the reset is to sell the laptop on, and i dont want to damage the laptop software or anything). pls help.
A relative passed and I have their laptops. 2 HP's. one bought in 2016. I dont have her PIN..so I cant log in to see if she has any important documents etc..I dont want to spend a lot of $$ to save the files. So maybe just reset it so I can use the computer. would these instructions help? It wont ask for a pin right?

When 'Resetting this PC' it is staying at 1% can anyone help me? It's not went up a percent in a while. Edit: I just left it on for a couple of hours and it went up to 98%. It's currently still at 98%. Edit 2: It's been working so far I'm just signing in now.
On the log in menu where you start windows to type in logging key code on the right side you see a power icon that prompts sleep restart or power of press on it while holding shift and should prompt you this steps if can’t access into windows

As he said, if you are trying to speed up a working computer, "This is WAY OVERSIMPLIFIED"! Remember: Ms doesn’t recommend using this tool on any PC where you wish to ensure that any of your applications or application-related content (including applications such as Office or security or service apps) remain properly installed and licensed. See Start> Settings> Apps & Features for a list of all, especially non-Ms apps you might NOT want to try to lose for licensing & historical info, or then have to re-install. (IE phone apps, some password, file, or contact/email management apps, games, etc.)
My microsoft store with camera and the photos app even xbox game bar wont work and wont open. Will resetting fix my problem? No solutions work even with powershell.

Hi while choosing 1. Remove everything and then 2.Just remove the files. Will it remove the files from HDD (D & E drive) . OS is present in SSD (C drive) kindly suggest

Would this also reformat the hard drive or its a separate procedure? I have partitioned hard drive. If this procedure would removed the partition then that will save a lot of time. Thank you.
Hi, I'm not sure about a partitioned hard drive as I have not had that problem when performing a totally reset on my laptop last July of 2020. My guess is that the format would be a seperate process, though please don't quote me, I may be rong. But its hard to say because as I've said, I've never ran in to that problem resetting my Win 10 laptop for the first time being totally blind and using Narator. Wish I could be of more help, but I don't want to steer you in the rong direction and cause you more problems with your computer.
When no account administrator exists, it recycles the process to no end. Option at the bottom if you forgot your pw it don’t see your account. Next, it’s an option to restart, thus the cycle circles back to two Windows 10 Vol. 3 boxes and a timer to start running Windows 10, which never does as it restarts again and back to same two boxes. Wonder if anyone out there may know what to do in such a case. Thank you for your help.

My pc came with windows 8.1. but is now upgraded to windows 10. Can I still use windows reset ? without reistalling Win. 8.1? It is Dell Inspiron and is over six years old. It is very slow start up and at times it stops responding. Thanks for the help.
Will this also remove the pre-installed apps by the manufacturer? Like Armory crate app in asus gaming laptops. And also, is this gonna remove the disk partitions made before?

My PC was infected with a virus or spyware that caused my PC performance and stability issues? It will help me to restore to factory settings or immediately reformat the entire HDD and then install Windows 10 from a DVD, what will solve this problem 100% ???
When you said the first step is done after pressing reset gose up to 100% my pc restarts I can hear the pc running but my monitors won’t turn on I’m not using graphic card at this point and if I turn my pc off I have to go into advance mode and restart the whole process and it just dose the same thing after the first part where it wipes the files any clues?
