Thanks for the review and for sharing your experience & opinions! I own and use the titanium light my fire spork. It has it's dedicated slot in my EHC (every hike carry, a Maxpedition Beefy). The spoon part is ca20% larger than on a plastik LMF-spork, the rest is almost the same. Since I am left handed I had never noticed the problem with the mini serations, as you suspected .. but what bothers me is the weird way the titanium feels in my mouth, but not enough to risk a broken spoon by substituting with the plastic sporc.
I think a 3 out of 5 rating is fair. Mine was also an impulse buy at Walmart. It lasted about 3 months before it snapped in half while lightly fishing something out of a bottle. But the spoon had a nice texture that made it satisfying to eat with, as well as for scraping that last bit at the bottom of a Toaks. It was good for camping, general travel, or just grabbing lunch on the go. Still, its lack of durability is hard to ignore, even if viewed from the lens of a cheap disposable spork. It is plastic and my preference would be to contribute less waste. And besides, for the same price you can buy a Chinese titanium knockoff on Aliexpress that will last for life.
