Hello Hello! At ZimCo Survival our goal is to provide you with the information you need to better prepare yourself for any situation that may come your way. We know the world is in a state of flux right now and a lot of people are feeling unsettled with the direction things are going! My Family, My Friends and myself are prepping the best way we can, and we hope to help you find your way down the prepping path with a little guidance from us. We have been working on primitive survival skills for over 15 years and we hope to impart some of that knowledge to you!

We are not making these videos to get rich on RU-vid! We simply want to provide the information to you so that we can hopefully help you be more prepared for what may come your way!

We will be doing 3 different types of videos on this channel, 1 - Product reviews. 2 - Discussions on survival items. 3 - Primitive Survival guides!

Thank you for watching!!!

I am using it (MC2G) most times, but usually I use my M3G. Both great with some limitiations. They both could have better romer scales but otherwise they are both great and love using them. I had one MC2 that developed a bubble and got it replaced under warranty.

I was in flea market and saw 2 of them new for $10. I bought one to check it out to make sure it was legit. Next day came back for the other one. I bought on recommendation of Dave Canterbury. Been good to me.

These are easy to replace the wicks in too ! These clippers are made in PRC so overseas but that's to be expected for the price? They work well enough so why not? I prefer the original nylon butane ones personally!

i don't understand, why this tarp is splitted in 3 or 4 parts. most tarps are made of two parts, stitched together in the middle section and then seam taped. also, why there are two importand lashes missing, so that it can be better set-up as A frame! once again, Snugpak does something good (for example the OD Green), but many things done not right. in my opinion!

I have also used the Stanley Adventure for many years, probably close to 10 years. I've bought multiple as gift when giving survival kits. I throw the cups out, because it's easier to keep the 100ml fuel canisters inside (it can fit 2, plus a micro stove at the bottom). Often I just carry one canister, a stove, a dish towel, folding silverware. This is the best set up for folks eating freeze dried meals.

Use a nylon to cover the spout, then you can clean it out easily, Seems like they should add a scrubby bumps inside it and make it double as a laundry bag and a dirty laundry bag. Then youd have a winning product. The nossle can be cleaned out with an air compressor.

i’ve been using this bottle for 10 years now. one small problem is that fuel leaks through the top of the bottle where the locking screw is if tipped more than 90° too low. but that only happens when tipped too low. to solve the problem, add an additional o-ring below the screw lock. that would add an additional “leak proofness”. i hope the manufacturer would do the same.

None of these statements should be taken seriously as none of it has been proven to be truth. Only papers are used and no real testing as in the case of what constitutes a lethal dose. Typical American scare sissies opinions and fears. If you really want this to help you, mix it with Glycerin and the results will amaze you 😊

I keep my 15 slim ultra clean too. I got mine second hand from eBay and it arrived dull and dirty. I took the collar off and buffed it to new. I used Autosol on the metal parts which took off a tonne of tarnish. It’s my tomato cutting knife at work now.

I like this tool for 'certain jobs' like sometimes for removing certain types of foliage on mass. Herbaceous lillies etc... it makes short work of green growth/ seasonal growth /oversize pest weeds. Also good for things with thorns/ cactus etc. You can drag pieces of cactus with the hook instead of touching them. That has saved me... But it's a bit wild for wood. Ie- it's a heavy machete- so watch out for the 'through swing' when it goes through a branch - because it can surprise with its weight and sharpness. Yes I've cut my leg.. because once it's moving- it really travels fast... like it has a break-away speed and gets a bit magical at cutting at top speed. Always through swing to the ground.. It actually makes that movie 'whip' sound like japanese sword fight. Maybe that's the shape... or the small hole in the blade... The sheath is great for when you're at work. I don't really like to carry the machete around without the sheath infront of clients- it's not a good look- ie packing the tools up and going to the car in an urban setting etc- the sheath makes you look way more professional.

I agree! Having a single stove system that can accommodate twigs, wood pellets, solid fuel pellets, and alcohol gave me the confidence that I will not run out of fuel -- and without having to carry multiple gas canisters -- especially when it is difficult to know how much gas remains. Plus, being able to cook as long as I want means that I am not limited to freeze-dried Mountain House meals. I can cook things like pasta and rice that take awhile to cook. After reducing the twigs to coals, by limiting the amount of new twigs added to the fire, you can also control the heat. There are some drawbacks: One is weight. Although it packs up into itself well, it is heavy. If you are an ultra-light packer, this system is too heavy, especially when you include the additional items you would need like pot and lids built to handle hot open wood fires. Another drawback have to do with fire restrictions. This is not something you could take on an extended through-hike on the PCT or a bike tour when weight is a factor. Another concern is soot. You need to be able to clean your kit and store it in a bag to isolate it from your other gear so you don't get soot all over everything. Finally, you also should have something for ground protection from the fire. A ground fire can burn for days undetected. A small metal plate placed under your stove can prevent embers from igniting the ground. All that being said, a variation of this system is my go-to for canoe camping and hiking trips when weight is not a factor. I found a pot that the stove fits into as well as a small fry pan where everything nests.
