It's official. All other types of dancing are boring compared to this unbelievable masterpiece. God! The sparks, the knee work, that gliding across the stage... amazing. Absolutely amazing.
I always keep coming back to this video, because the choreography and skill shown here are OUTSTANDING. I've never seen anything on this level after this vid. I mean not just the graceful dancing, but the use of shields and swords is amazing. I'd even say it's hypnotizing, in a way.
it's our traditional dance most of Georgians learned how to dance in younger years even I beeing a doctor can dance. this is a training video checkout actual dance of "Suxishvilebi" or "Erisioni"
This is easily the most elegantly choreographed piece I've ever seen in my life. The athleticism, the accuracy, USING ACTUAL STEEL RODS!! This is a true work of art!
tornike chagalidze that’s not an awkward moment. That’s the best moment cuz we aren’t that known as a country. We deserve it though because we’re awesome🇬🇪❤️
@Gev G good job only including the most popular part of georgian culture and completely forgetting the other parts. Our cuisine isnt just dumplings and old pizza, there is more than that. The instruments arent only panduri or chonguri, there is more than that. Both you and the other guy is an asshole.
@Gev G what about diplipito, doli, chonguri, salamuri, chianuri, gudastviri, changi. And what about sacivi, gozinaki, khinkali, mtsvadi, shoti, sulguni, chechili, tenili, tklapi. You know nothing about our culture and are a dickwad.
@Gev G chechil point i agree with. doli is georgian, it is a type of nagara that originated in georgia. khinkali did not come from Armenia and originated in mtianeti. there are many more instruments like chiboni, duduki, diplipito, larchemi, pilili, zurna, tsiko-tsiko. you are greatly exaggerating everything. i also love your hypocrisy of saying georgians attack armenian videos and then you proceed to attack georgians. 10/10 my nigga
@Gev G Its doli, not dol. a simple instrument does not mean it can not be claimed. doli is georgian, there may be different times of drums like doli, for example dhol, but doli is georgian. mongolian dumplings are wayyyy different from khinkali, they might have introduced dumplings, but they certainly didnt create khinkali. all of your points fall completely flat expect the chechil part.
Metal yes. But not sharp, don't have to be. Also there is some kind of magnesium on them, those sparks are unnatural for steel collision. Still, epic and nice.
Спасибо, что выложили репетицию . Без концертных костюмов ещё больше завораживает . Какие красивые девочки и ребята ! Какой труд !!! Прекрасный танец !
I am Georgian and the best thing what i love in our dances is a huge respect toward women-thats why the men stop fighting and lay on knees when the girls come.
what the hell are they eating??? who has this energy? I'm tired just from watching this. It was amazing though. I can't even imagine the training this must require
Была на их концерте. Так у меня ладошки ещё неделю огнём горели-хлопала не жалея рук.😉 Ребята выкладываются на полную! Мастерство на высшем уровне!!! Восторг и восхищение!!! Браво!!!!
Gorgeous, so much power and refinement at the same time! I had the priviledge to see the Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili live in my hometown of Pereira-Colombia in 2011 and 11 years later it's still one of the most beautiful and thrilling experiences I've ever had. I was learning Georgian at the time and could exchange a few phrases with two of you guys and even invite you a drink, one of the most memorable experiences ever. Georgian culture is in general electrifying for me.
Bravo Georgia!! You guys came to Agrigento for the Almond Blossom Festival and you left everyone astonished. You won the Golden Temple because you war dances were the best. Hope to see you again in Akragas (Agrigento).
@Lucifer some lead and gunpowder though. It's a shame but war and geopolitics are cruel, no amount of spirit and patriotism and overcome numbers, money and advanced military equipment and tactics.
what that supposed to mean , we have great dancers , but i wouldn't say we have unbreakable spirit , same applies to patriotism ... if it was true we would have different history ... i would prefer humble and intelligent approach , instead of bragging about culture we barely maintain , and i'm saying it as proud highlander .
Охренеть !! просто .. красиво , быстро .. как они это все успевают делать и прыгать и носок тянуть, и ещё фехтование .. я представляю как это на концерте выглядит .. парни все стройные и девушки оч красивые ..
To be honest Roman empire ended expanding in Georgia. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e7/RomanEmpire_117.svg Iberia on this map is modern Georgia
As a matter of fact we did many times. Georgian warriors were nimble and fought on rough terrains where Roman war machine could not utilize all its' strength. Georgians have seen many Victories ageinst overwhelming Forces, being outnumbered 1/10
Absolutely unbelievable. These people are amazing. The best in the world would be my thinking. Thank you Georgia Iam now a bit of a nervous wreck, Wow.
This was so awesome! The two guys from 5:25 to 5:40 were amazing. I don't know how they spun on their knees, kept up with the sword work without missing a beat & kept in sync with each other without slicing each other open. Simply amazing!
I did this dance when I was little. You start practicing with wooden swords first.pared up with your partner and months of practice .then real swords ,not sharpened though, but still my nose, my head , wrists and most often fingers , all bruised up. Pride and adrenaline override it. Chicks loved it. If you choreographer lets you dance this peace then you're one of the dudes :) most aspired one is with two swords .
it’s not anger, it’s a story conveyed and described in dances, it’s a separate small fragment of a big performance that needs to be seen in its entirety, believe in Georgian dances the sword battle is not the most important and memorable, but yes it’s very spectacular, but you will understand everything from the beginning to the end that it’s just a connecting link of the whole and leaving the hall which is full of energy and you’ll be charged with remembering everything in a single whole sense, and not a separate moment of the battle
@@erikninua8419 i'm so sorry but i don't remember posting this or this video omg. i was probably 12, please excuse it, i don't know anything about the culture and i sound ignorant.
@@koolkid8924 Yes, don't worry, I would have thought so myself, all cultures are very diverse and when you see what it is that you cannot understand or it is unusual for you to explain that it is simpler and more familiar, so I understand you
