💕💕💕 He's Preparing Me...oh my God my God my God...was the first song I heard by Daryl Coley, introduced to me by my sister, Traycee! I cried like a baby and remember that day vividly! Revelation knowledge poured into my spirit fiercely! It was the beginning of another level of relationship and communication with God and has since, continued to powerfully strengthen me and take me from faith to faith to faith... And I have yet, to hear another like Daryl Coley and I'm definitely listening...oh I'm listening...the way that brother ushered in the presence of the Holy Spirit! Oh my God, my God, my God...what a wonderful, awesome and mighty God we serve! He is always working on me or my situation! Amen 💕💕💕

Your assessment of Daryl is absolutely correct. He had the most humble spirit. He loved Christ, loved people, and loved to laugh. His voice cannot be duplicated...ever. RIP my friend.

Thank you Charlie! I may have said before, but I was introduced to Daryl Coley when I was diagnosed with Pancreatitis on October 29th 1991. It was my 17th Birthday. I was unconscious, but my Stepmom brought a boom box to my room with all of his music. She wanted the presence of God to be there, especially when the family could not. I remembered & knew all the songs that had been playing. I'm excited to hear the James Moore reaction. I know you Lovvvvve LeAndria Johnson. Most of her songs especially from Sunday Best & her first album was def influence by Rev. James Moore

Richard was probably Richard Smallwood. He is an amazing singer and an even better composer. He's a classically trained pianist. He is also a minister of the gospel. He attended Howard University for undergrad, and its divinity school. He established the Howard Gospel Choir. He also has a choir named Vision. If you can't tell, I am a BIG fan.

it is hard for many to understand playing with music unless you have grown up in the black church. we sing with feelings. we sing to draw you in and take you for a ride. they story is not just the song, but ones interpterion to the song.

I love this reaction because it is as genuine as Daryl performing this amazing song. This is what anointing looks, sounds, and feels like. He felt it way down in his soul and it shows from the tears streaming down my face each time I hear it. This is a sermon and a praise within a song!

He was also a humble, kind, generous, gracious and grateful human being. He was the real deal in every way: musician, minister, human being. Some artists put on a mask and adopt a persona for the public but are different behind closed doors. Not so with Pastor Coley. That experienced fact made everything he did more precious. I’m blessed to have known him.

I had the pleasure of meeting both of them Darryl Coley, one of my faves, and Rev. James Moore.....very approachable, very down to earth, loving....two gospel greats. I’m so sorry that they’re no longer with us, but I am grateful to have met them, and I am so thankful their music is available for us to still be blessed by! Rev Coley and Rev Moore were singing in same era but never worked together. I love Rev Moore but Rev Coley blows me away everytime. I wish there was more videos of both. This two saved my life and soul 10x over. Rip both men
