drawing your friends and the drawing not looking like them is SO REAL, that's the real reason I refuse their requests of me drawing them, I don't wanna mess up smn's face😭
This video made me smile and made me very inspired! I love your more abstract work, the colors are so beautiful together! 😊 My favorite sketchbook brand is the Talens Art Creations sketchbooks (the little ones that are square)
I love how you make room for the unfinished, loose mix media, funny writing and still manage to make these sketchbooks look so beautifully professional. I need to stop judging my own work and ripping out the pages I don't like!
I loved these sketchbooks so much. it really inspired me also love the tattoo designs they’re sick af. i can’t wait to see more videos from you. I also wanna be an art teacher that sounds so awesome!!
These are so satisfying to watch and it inspires me to create more. 💗 Also @2:05 I love the psychedelic drawing! You could make that into prints or stickers. I would buy it for sure. Just a thought. Anyways keep sharing your light 💖🪷
i love stumbling upon small youtube artists bc yall always have the cutest, most inspiring art (I LURVVV WHAT U DO HELLO!) and for u to be from atl ... like me and go to GSU (not like me, but i have a lot of connections there) is so crazy!!!!! love ur art ur so cool LIKE USHER SAID BRING DA WORLD TO A!!
5 months late but printmaking is so great. copperplate etching is a bit hard but the shading tech that you apply on to the plate is amazing. even just using 1$ masking tape or labels help with doing stuff like hard ground and aquatint. dont know if you tried it yet but you should get your hands on a gelli plate for mono and block printing, its pretty versatile and you can reuse the plate as long as you take good care of it~!!
ur vids always get me inspired ahh ty edit : ur second sketchbook was what i was wondering from the last comment ((if u remember ) so ty for that as well < 3
I think the artist you copied on that face and the other on the same page is Moon, love their art. You have such vivid imagination and also technical knowledge, subbed
cool art! however~ i feel like it's incredibly necessary to clarify that there are huge issues with Atlanta's cop city besides just that it's gonna train and further militarize the police (to prevent organized protests and civil disobedience): for starters, yes the building of cop city encroaches on indigenous land (and already at least one young queer person, Tortuguita, has been murdered by state police for occupying the forest to prevent its ecocide), it's one of MANY cop cities around the country since 2020 (which gonna be pretty terrible for further criminalizing/incarcerating black people, as atlanta is one of the only cities in the US with a majority-black population), and the APD is one of many police forces trained by the IDF! Like, right now we have to keep focus on Rafah, Gaza and the Palestinian struggle, alongside the brave students of over 120 universities around the US and the world who are protesting for divestment, end of occupation, and (hopefully) the end of capitalist colonialism as a whole! So saying stop cop city is kind of empty without also freeing palestine and our global siblings whose oppression predicates on our complicity to middle class "first world" comfortability!
hell yes ,thank you for expanding on that, those are all things i want to talk about on this channel but only after further researching the topics to the best of my ability. as much as i want to talk about them alongside my regular art content, i understand how this can often deter my audience (in my analytics, i can see specifically where the dropoff points are, and it tends to be whenever i speak on something "political.") i still plan to mention bits and pieces of this giant interconnected issue of white supremacist influence over global freedoms and peace, like for example in my next video i want to go more in depth to GILEE after doing more research; i want to strategize to get my message out to as many people as possible in the most meaningful way through quality videos, which is going to take time and research. i'm looking into how i can talk about these issues and relate them to everyday life and artistic practice without facing censorship, so hopefully whenever i do discuss these issues, i can do so without being shadowbanned for using certain words that incite mobilization and resistance. my intention is not to ignore any other issues outside of the stop cop city, but rather keep the attention of my audience without creating an overbearing and under-researched explanation of those issues. viva viva Tortuguita, and free palestine!
