Love it! I also have aphantasia, so it is really useful to see how an artist with aphantasia does it. I hope you are able to do more of this type of videos.
showing how you break the face down into shapes is very helpful for people that struggle with drawing faces. can be tricky seeing what shapes you can use sometimes to draw a portrait and you explain really well here how to do it🙂
FYI...not sure if you meant to do this, but I'm currently watching you live stream from today and your comments are turned off. You mentioned needing to give your audience something of value, and I was going to give some feedback and comment on the fact that what you were giving me at the moment that was of extreme value to me is watching you mix your colors. I've watch A TON of art/painting videos over the last 6 or 7 years and have learned so many techniques, but hardly any of the art RU-vidrs that I enjoy watching show the process of mixing their colors, so I really struggle with this still. It's so helpful to watch someone do it like you are in your latest live.
@@HulloAlice thank you. I cannot express how helpful it is to see you mixing colors. As I watch you mix and paint, I'm thinking about where you're putting it & why you made those decisions, and as a self-taught artist, it really helps too further my skills.
Hullo Alice, thank you for sharing this excellent video on how to draw a face! I hope you continue this as a series of videos on drawing the figure and facial expressions! I know that we must use a lighter line when starting the drawing, I think you might need to start with a darker line just for the video aspects and being able to see your process! I am excited to watch videos on the different views of the face. I know you will be able to show everyone how to create a face they can be proud to do.
Thank you for such an in depth tutorial! I really want to improve drawing people and I think this is the most important part so this will be so helpful!
