That long red dress makes me think of the mom on The Partridge Family. Like that could have been her Christmas dress, I'm pretty sure. It's exactly the type of 70's glamorous gown she would've worn.

I really enjoyed both your clothing style and the fun-friendly way you share your finds✨ Btw, I strongly suspect the flowy white 2 piece dress ($35, 8:00) is a peignoir set. My mom had one - she was married in the mid 1960’s. It was a tradition for a bride to have an elaborately feminine nightgown set for her honeymoon, so that she’d feel as lovely then as she did in her wedding dress💖

Honestly I’m still not over the white dress set… it’s gonna be in so many photoshoots haha. Already wore it in one 😂 maybe when I alter the vest into a corset I’ll pair them together!!

11:07 I HAVE THAT EXACT SEWING BOX!! I was given it by my grandma, it was my great-great grandma's I believe. It also had some thread in it!

Couldn't quite catch the title of the old book. Was it Bulwer Llyton? If it is, he was a writer and politician in mid 1800s. It would be worth checking the publish date.
