The zipper on men’s pants is on the opposite side as women’s in most cases. That’s how you can tell! ❤

🥰 so glad you loved this! In my original video on tiktok that inspired this one I was wearing my fav black leggings with the t-shirt in the commentary, a denim jacket & my fav ankle boots. It was my dog walking outfit but still felt cute! 🥰 I’m all for comfy & cute 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I’ll have to check the tag. When I googled it I found it on several sites like Red Bubble and a few others. If I remember correctly my brother got it for me years ago while at the Star Trek convention in Vegas at a vendor booth. According to him the actor that played Harry Kim in Star Trek Voyager was at the booth which I thought was cool. Besides the shirt being cool I love all the stories behind it. Like how they met Dominic Keating in the hotel bar and chatted with him while he was slightly tipsy 😂

Lol!!!! Your dog, and by the way my doxies were fighting over a squeaky ball while I watched this. The barking!!! Oy! Love the embroidered collars! Also with your allergy have you thought of brooches which won’t be against your skin but add some whimsy to an outfit and are usually a cheap find at antique stores & second hand shops? I love the enameled metal flower ones because my mom always wore them in the 1960’s-70’s!!

That’s a good idea. I own several broaches I always just forget to wear them. For my lower cut tops with square neck I usually like to have something there but maybe I’ll try a neck scarf or something.

As a "well endowed" girl, I can't really wear round collared tshirts. I end up looking like I have one massive boob!!! But some of your ideas I have been and will be using to style v-neck pullovers. (yes, I'm pullover years old) As for your allergy, have you thought of using silk or macrame cords for your pendants? Love the shoes in your first outfit. Docs can be murder, but once broken in, you can live in them!!

Omg one massive boob LOL yeah round collars aren’t for every body type. That is a good idea about the silk it macrame cords. I’ll have to look into that. My skin is so sensitive it’s honestly a struggle lol. & about the docs, for sure!! The patent ones are the wooorst to break in. The softer leather ones have been good to me though. I traded in my classic patent black ones for one of the newer black combat styles with a more soft material (and they’re lighter so I assume they’re faux leather) and those are also a fav of mine. I think the worst I’ve ever had were the Jadon Max. I had a blister 5 minutes in even with thick socks. They’re stiff patent AND insanely heavy from the platform. Ended up selling them on Depop 😅

Really good ideas that I can even fit into my more boho style etc ...tho today I am blending cottage (cute brown shirt with tan mushrooms) and hippie (brown and beige tie dyed lounge pants) 😋 ... glad I saw your heads up on IG about your video...cause yep didn't show up in my feed... been happening to even some of the larger channels.

Doggo is adorable 😍 All your outfits are so cute too and such a good episode on pared down cottage core styles. If you ever find yourself with a pair of shoes/boots that are too stiff, soak newspaper in a water and metho mix, stuff the shoe really firmly with the wet paper and then allow it to dry. As the paper dries it'll expand and the method also softens the leather 😊xx

I know this was posted a year ago, so I’m not sure if ThredUp was doing this at the time, but they currently have a CleanOut feature where they send you a bag to fill up with clothes that you send back to them and they will sell some of your stuff and give you money/credit for it. Is that worth it? Is it a good idea? Anyone have opinions? 😊

Stephanie Canada made a good video on that I recommend watching. My opinion is that it used to be worth it but there are too many fees with too little payout unless you’re sending in top tier designer pieces. Most people are sending in pieces from like Old Navy, Target, Zara, H&M etc which they pay very little for if anything at all (brands they consider “fast fashion” they don’t even pay you for but just take and sell - a lot of contemporary brands most people shop are lumped into that category). So it’s better these days to take things to in person consignment or just sell yourself on Poshmark.
