Gurl you have that confidence that you ain’t gonna bleed while doing all of that, hun I just added soap and water and ran to grab the towel as a fast as I can so I wouldn’t bleed. But then when I finished wearing my clothes and stuff my towel was covered in blood this whole time 🫢.
You should shower with hotter water, this will help the cramps. It’s important to shower during periods every day to clean yourself and to stay fresh during periods. Try hot water / warm water w cramps!

I run in the shower quickly rinse off (I don’t wash my hair during my period bc I won’t make it out of the shower in time) then quickly grab a towel and dry my legs and run to the toilet seat and then get a pad and put it on that way im “safe” while getting ready 😂
What I do is, before I shower, I make sure I prepare an undie with a pad on it. That way as soon as I finish showering, I quickly dry my legs and stomach then put on the undie. Then I can finish drying my body without worrying that my flow is gonna start before I get a pad on. Hope this helps
Personally for me day 1 is very bad. Day 2, sometimes very bad, or it's like it's not even happening. Day 3 in the past has been bad sometimes, but it usually cleared up by then. Now, on day 3, there is no pain.
yeah, also when in the bath! it’s because the pressure from the water stops most of the blood from coming out:) not to mention the steam, which relaxes your muscles ahah
I personally have more energy to do more self hygiene because I just feel gross and not good so I feel to get in a good mood I want to smell good look good and just feel good so I feel as if self care on my period helps with that!
Me too I shower every other day like I shower Monday and then Wednesday. But on my period i shower everyday and I wipe as soon as I get out so I don’t bleed while changing
Lots of y’all don’t like showering while your in a state of not wanting to stand up but you have to,it’s hygienic so please y’all shower I am begging you.but don’t do any of that stuff just use a soap bar that unscented and you can clean your private area with it won’t dry your thingy 😅

Many people just rush or don’t wash their hair on their period but I take my time sense mine doesn’t run super fast. I just get in use soap and water. And skincare at night and all that. But sometimes I have to wash my hair

Wtf!?... You need to have good hygiene when you are on your periods. You can not bath on other days that's your choice, but not bathing even during periods! 🤢

I too have heavy flow on mid week, yes the blood just flows down with the water, but it's your own blood what's so disgusting? , till now it should be normal for you to see your blood flowing down like that!
@@daizz5500 oh no, seeing my blood go down doesn't disgust me,its how i have to keep cleaning my legs, i practically cant clean them, just my personal preference, you can definitely feel good after a shower even with the blood flowing, this is simply me sharing my opinion hope you didnt take any offense buddy :)
@@80lala08 This maybe a bit too much info or smth but what helps me is that I put the towel in between to stop the blood from going down, it's basically like a temporary pad for me. I instantly put on my pad first when I dry off. You could also just use tampons once you get out if you use them. Idk how they work since I don't use em but I'm sure you can use one when you get out! Since your period takes a pause whenever you're in water and takes a while for it to come back you should be good. I have a moderate-heavy flow and I usually don't bleed alot when I get out of the shower.
Can us hower on your pwriod with having to use a tampon or cup bc tbh...i am terridied to use a tampon and i dont want to when i get my first period. I am 11 almost 12 and my mom said i will prob get my period later this year or next year
If this is how the period shower is, then I'll be happy. But when I'm showering on my periods, I'll bleed a little. It's so frustrating,I think y'all girls know that, it mixes with the soap,😭😭 and another problem is when I rub and wash that pubic area , blood gets in my hands . OMG! I can't handle at all. Even I have energy on periods to do all works, thinking about these above things, energy will go down to bath. But, after bath, I feel like my big relief.
I’ve never heard of Islam prohibiting women from showering on their period. It’s usually cultural lies because of myths that it causes infertility (it doesn’t, there’s no proof so don’t believe it.) You CAN take showers during menstruation. Keep yourself clean on your period.
Pls don’t make this about Muslims. I’m a Muslim and I shower during periods daily bec not showering is unhygienic and there’s NOTHING wrong with that. If you’re a Muslim, you must be knowing how cleanliness and staying neat is so important in our religion. It’s a CULTURAL thing if some people don’t shower during periods
