i’ve been struggling with really bad breakouts around my chin/cheek area since covid started. nothing was working for me and i’d wake up with new breakouts everyday. i went from the odd breakout during my period, to it basically taking over my whole chin area 😭 i used green tea, centella and all the calming ingredients in the world but the mugwort essence. THE ESSENCE. changed. my. skin. my scarring is now starting to fade and i have significantly less breakouts. i also use the mask 1-2 times a week and i personally LOVE the smell of it. i’m not seeing much difference using the cream but it applies nicely and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. if you’re suffering from maskne it’s definitely worth trying the i’m from mugwort line for sure! (would recommend buying the travel sizes if you want to test it out first)

omg I agree! The acne on my cheeks just DONT stop and the only thing that really calmed them down/really helped was the mugwort mask! I love it so much and now I think I definitely have to buy the essence haha

Heyy! Did you continue to apply spot treatments to your acne while using the toner, or did you just drop the spot treatment? If you continued the spot treatment, did you just apply it as the last step of your routine?

Mugwort Essence smells exactly like the water you used to boil guava leaves. When I was young, I used to have allergies on my leg and my mother would boil guava leaves on water and used that to ease allergy and idk if it cures or it gets cured itself but it does help.

I really love the mugwort essence, the mask does reak, it did brighten and make my skin really smooth, but the honey mask does that while nourishing and soothing as well. The mugwort essence though is an amazing product for reducing my redness and breakouts and I don't need much of it at all.

@@Romana_42 I have combination skin and I think the honey mask really helped balance the oils. It was also the only mask that could soothe my under the skin acne when they would occur. I would always use it when my skin was freaking out. Oh and yes, it's significantly brightening.

I bought the revive serum from Beauty of Joseon and I just have to accept that snail mucin makes my pores look enlarged for some reason. I just use it on my neck now. I do like the texture, I just wish my pores liked the ingredient. I am going to try the glow serum next. And the Farmacy Honey moisturizer is my holy grail!

My current favorites are the Missha Mugwort Essence and Neogen’s Green Tea Foam Cleanser.🙂 I once tried a ginseng cream sheet mask, but didn’t like the scent. I have a keen sense of smell, so it wasn’t pleasant for me. It’s a good thing there are endless options of skincare ingredients nowadays.🙂

I use the pureheals ginseng berry 80 overnight mask. Its sooo hydrating but dries down completely. It seals in all my nightly routine stuff and smells aaahhhmazing, cuz I get the scent thing. When I wash it off in a.m. my skin must looks 👌🏼

I bought all 3 of the Beauty of Joseon serums and am currently testing them! I love them so far! I really liked the Glow serum and am currently testing the Repair serum. I love how well they absorb, the incredible mix of ingredients, and how they're fragrance and essential oil free. Haven't seen any INCREDIBLE results, but these are the "gentle effects over a long period of time" sort of products. Next up, the Calming serum!

I can only wear the Repair Serum and Calming Serum at night because they're too hydrating/dewy on my skin. My favorite one is the Glow Serum -- though I didn't see any noticeable benefits (other than hydration), the ingredients match my skin concerns the most. I use the Calming Serum the least because it doesn't really actively treat anything, but is good if you have irritated or sensitive skin. The Repair Serum isn't bad and I like how it doesn't smell too strongly of Ginseng, but it's the one I would pass on next time. Overall, they all are extremely gentle and are the types of products that you'll have to use for a long time before seeing noticeable effects. I'm currently working on transitioning my serums to more active ingredients (like Niacinamide & Zinc, Retinol, and Azelaic Acid) to hopefully attack some of my skin concerns quicker.

@@okashi10 thanks for that. I have rosacea prone skin and hyperpigmentation so those are my main concerns that I am looking to tackle. I was hoping these would be active enough to make a noticeable difference, so reduce acne marks / dark spots and redness

@@justcommenting3515 I think the calming serum could be good for redness or irritation. But I think the active ingredients in these will not have a noticeable effect on hyperpigmentation. The one brightening serum, the Glow Serum, has some ingredients that could be potential irritants to some people. I think these are good serums for people who are looking for a gentle, multipurpose serum to use everyday. But if you're looking for specific results, I suggest looking into other serums with ingredients that address your specific skin concerns. Niacinamide and Azelaic Acid are both gentle ingredients that are recommended for calming, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation. Maybe look into those! I just got the Naturium Azelaic Acid Serum to try.
