This interview is so right on! Two of my favorite youtubers of all time. Here's what I have to say. What Steve said is the Number One requisite for learning a language! I can always measure how helpful a different language speaker will be to help me. If I speak their language better than they speak mine, and they are more willing to listen to my mistakes than make their own, I have found a language learning gold mine! Input alone will never get you there.
Thank you for your videos. It would be super helpful if instead of (or in addition to) overlaying subtitles onto the videos itself, you could add them as proper RU-vid closed captions. That way, people could easily use language learning tools (like Migaku or Language Reactor for example) and it would make it easier to copy&paste and look up words (for example using tools like Yomichan).
Steven Kaufman is amazing. He speaks French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Swedish, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, and Romanian fluently, and also knows other langauges to a degree.
¿Serías capaz de enseñar otros idiomas o por el contrario enseñar el propio español a los japoneses? Es una pregunta que me pasa bastante por la cabeza.
