I'm glad we used our primo picks the way we did we got two instead of one and the DT pick allows us to not only stop the run but in Zimmer's D frees up Parsons to have more flexibility.McCarthy is goin to use our stable by committee .Im not too worried about us moving the ball.I would like to see some two back sets!
I know your talking RBs, but I was listening to a Browns podcast and they were talking about how they think Maurice Hurst will get released since they have such a crowded DT room. I remember Hurst from when the Raiders drafted him but didn't keep up with his play. He signed another 1 yr contract for $3.2M...Your thoughts!?
I really don’t understand the Cowboys way of analyzing RBs. There was a kid in the Draft named Kimani Vidal and he’s a great looking Back who was taken in the 6th Round, I believe. Even when the Draft ended, Cody Shrader went undrafted. I was speechless when Dallas invited ZERO RBs to walk on as UDFAs. Sometimes, it seems like Jerry has dementia and Stephen is just the worst businessman I’ve ever seen in the NFL. 😮
Keyton Mitchell is likely to start the season on IR. Expect Henry, Hill and Ali to all make the team and when Mitchell is ready either Hill or Ali will mysteriously trip over a rock and get placed on seasons ending IR. Your only hop is if Ali fumbles a lot during camp
Isaiah Spiller with the Chargers. 4th rounder from 2 years ago out of A&M. He’s only around 22 and has not gotten a chance. Can probably get him for a pack of gum. Chargers have Jk Dobbins Gus Edwards and rookie Vidal
We also have to take into account if some of these teams like certain guys. For example the Ravens Keaton Mitchell got hurt(Torn ACL VS Jaguars)12-17-2023 Mitchell might start the year on IR. So Ali might get pumped up in the depth chart. Teams like to tag people they like that they don’t want to risk having on the practice squad or have to cut them they slap a fake hurt tag on a guy, stash him for next year. But hey I’m just a viewer
Unless someone is clearly better than Dowdle, I'd rather Dowdle get his shot. When healthy he's balled out and he's super hungry. If he fails then at trade deadline trade for someone else. But between Dowdle, Zeke, Freeman we should be ok
Even the casuals are ambiently aware that Zeke's best days may be in the rearview. I ain't gonna lock him in as washed, though. He still the right side of 30.
@@benjamingarza9486 pollard had a thousand yard season averaging 4 yards a carry coming off a broken leg in a playoff game running behind one of the worst graded run blocking lines and schemes in the league . Then he got paid to be a number 1 . Zeke aint 2016 zeke because he doesn’t have the best o line in the league behind him . He hasn’t done crap without that
@@benjamingarza9486 give 2022 pollard thst 2016 o line and he breaks all the cowboys records the ones that zeke couldn’t even break because he wasn’t better than demarco . Y’all just like dude because of his name .
My hot take is # 42 will surprise so many cowboy fans. #42 has that ability to make a 2 yard loss , into a 2 yard gain. We have depth but besides number 42 who has that juking ability to turn negative into a positive? We have solid backs with good juke ability but not like number 42 .Ezekiel Elliott will come in handy third & one in the second half but trust me when I say number 42 is it
