Makes me feel less anxious, euphoric even, a kind of high that makes me feel we're all part of one big family. It's a strange experience, ASMR, i dont understand the neurology/psychology behind it, though its sort of meditative/hypnotic in nature. The community is amazing, restores my faith a bit in human nature. Was thinking about making some videos, never done anything like that, but, i'm awkward person, not comfortable in my own skin in new situations, and not great hardware :)

It's one of the few recent trends I've embraced, and one that is not obnoxious or abrasive. The people are very positive and supportive. You don't have to create videos, as long as you learn something from ASMR - that's what's important. Take care....keep blazing (that's VERY compatible with ASMR, I've found)!

Thanks man, i've always been anxious kinda guy and this is a healthier way to relax than smoking or nail biting. Some people relax with music but i'm kinda numb to it, so its nice to have an option that isnt physically self destructive :p

I first experienced ASMR when I was a child about 5 or 6 years old when my mother would read me bedtime stories she would read in a whisper I didn't know what it was but it felt amazing I'm so happy that now that I'm older there is a name for this feeling!

Wow, did I miss this video? Or have I just forgotten? Either way it feels new lol I didn't get to go out tonight in the storm that was here and now it's over :< In the hills of Arizona we watched the lightning. It was so wonderful seeing it dance around the sky behind the black mountains. I remember my dog used to come snuggle me during the storms because she was afraid and I was her protector :3 This video reminds me of that. Everything you are saying is perfect. Kittens and ear brushing type sounds prrrr.

I love thunderstorms too :), but when you're outdoors somewhere in the alps far away from safety and there's lighting striking everywhere around you and it is getting closer and closer it can be really scary haha. Happened to me a few times. The most beautiful thing's in my opinion when you get home right before the rain sets in and then you make yourself nice cub of soup or tea and listen to the thunder and watch the heavy rain. :)

The thing is every time I am doing something crazy like going a long cycling trip up the mountain or walking cross country for multiple days or walking in the thunder storm I keep asking myself why the hell did I do this? Stupid me, I wish I were at home relaxing in the garden and enjoy some ice cream whatever… but the next day I am doing exactly the same thing again haha. I keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results haha :). It's cool. Being crazy is really good, because in the end everybody is crazy in a way. It's crazy to listen to watching Asmr-videos for me and I wouldn't admit in public (I guess most of my friends don't have a clue what it is anyways). But in the end who cares if it's crazy or not. It's relaxing and makes people feel comfi and fall asleep more easily so… I love craziness haha :)

I understand that feeling to. Where I live there are houses really close to each other. When lightning strikes it's a little scary because it can just get so close sometimes. O think this was a brilliant idea. When I was a child and whenever it thundered and lightning-ed and raied, I would seek someplace cozy. I remember one time I had my mom make me a glass of cocoa, and I too a tan umbrella out onto the carport and crouched under the umbrella drinking the cocoa while it rained. I must have been all of six years old. This reminds me of the coziness I felt. Thank you, Maria.

She didn't blow out the candles...She blew out the camera! That's some impressive binaural 3d microphone ASMR. ASMR can be weaponized. I hope those reading this have a good sense of humor.
