I love the way that El is always surrounded by flowers despite his rather ominous demonic nature.

I absolutely love it. Especially how the demon girl is pretty much just happy for him, rather than appearing with a typical "You'll need to repay this tenfold later"

I love how when Feather is talking to the head cultist about how he'd promised he'd come back to destroy them all etc. there's a huge smile on his face.

I fell in love with the series, Feather, Clover and El. All of your characters are so interesting an unique, I think the more sketchy lines gives it an interesting character. I love the environments and designs too!!!

With no information whatsoever before watching this I can safely say that this animation is brilliant. The creator's immense talent to create engrossing characters and excellent illustrations brings this devastatingly beautiful story to life without any dialogue whatsoever. From my own understanding from what I saw, I'd say that this world (or at least a city) is ruled by a tyrannical cult-inquisition that takes and steals children to sacrifice to ward off the 'Demon Boy'. The members of the cult wear masks that resemble aspects of the 'Demon Boy's' form as a status symbol separating them from the common people. But when Feather's sister is stolen by the cult he makes a pact with the 'Demon Boy' to destroy the cult and rescue his sister, becoming the city's new ruler in the aftermath. This is impressive how much detail you can impart without any voice-acting at all. Good Job, Sprout Haven.

I love this so much!!! The head cultist's bird design? How Feather ends up adopting that design by the end as the new technically "head" of El's cult? First with the wings and gold eyes, then with his own mask? Speaking of, El! I hate him in the best possible way lol. Like they're kind of terrible but also I love their character design so much and they just be vibing. Like they see Feather, and immediately decide, yep, they're going to make him a god for funsies. Chaotic evil bastard /pos. And that's not even mentioning the art??? The gorgeous panels? The animation??? I am shook. But seriously I love this so much and am somewhat obsessed now, thanks for the hyperfixation ig.

HOLY SHIT THIS GOES *SO* HARD. I’ve always loved this song so I was very excited when I saw you’d made an animatic for it, but this is really the first time I’ve ever seen one capture the vibe of fury and spite the song has! Even better: the anger is because of love, which is always the vibe the song gives me. And this guy makes a deal with an entity AND becomes friends with them! What more could anyone ask for?! This is amazing and I can’t thank you enough for making it.

I realized after a rewatch that the priest had a pair of fake wings pinned to his cloak. Probably to imitate their god's blessing, which the protagonist actually received. And when he saw those wings he realized He fucked up

This song is sooo good for a character backstory. Your artstyle is AWESOME! WHOA THIS STORY WAS SO COOL! The ending was really poetic, ironic, and melancholy! The cult be like "If we do x, y, and z, we will summon the demon!" and the mc's just "boy let me show you how to do it properly, idiot"

This is my favorite one so far! Animation jumped in progress leaps and bounds. Expressions were on point. Story, pace, transitions, everything in time with a fantastic song! Well done.

I really like how it does look like that the place the group was worshiping at was the only place to burn because not only were they doing horrible things it looks like they were doing it in the name of El's three headed monster dog form. Which clearly, he didn't like that when he found out.

I watched this when it first came out, and rewatch it every two or three weeks. It's been 11 months since then and I only JUST REALISED that the main character's sister wasn't just taken but was sacrificed. When he had the sword at the preacher's throat it and it flashed to how he didn't give mc's sister any mercy and then THE NEXT FRAME IS JUST SO MORE AMAZING. 2:24

i know this is like a year old but your art style is so COOL!! like within the first minute of this video i got pulled from the grave of art block like “I NEED TO DRAW RIGHT NOW!!!!” and it was purely because of the aesthetics of this

There’s a poor kid who lives in town controlled by cultists who pray to a demon. This kid aka feather has a sister who is take by the cult as a sacrifice. The video starts off with this premise and shows how the cultists take his sister. At this point he is weak and he knows it so he goes away after promising to get revenge. Feather then summons a demon named El to give him power so he can kill the cultists. In return he‘ll be a loyal servant of El. At the same time his sister is sacrificed. He receives wings and feathers from the hence the name feather. The boy then returns to town and starts attacking the cultists base. Burning everything in his wake. He kills the head cultist and takes down the whole cult. After this he goes to his dead sister and using the powers imparted upon him from El to revive her. All the townsfolk who had also been harassed by the cult saw this happen and thought he was an angel because he had wings, saved them from the cultists and resurrected someone. They then pray to him worshiping him as the new protector of the town. He then takes over and becomes the ruler making the land prosperous once again
