Hi Mo! It's too bad the formula in the minis is different, but it's nice that the looks came out the same at least. I've started to buy the original Toasted palette so many times, but there were enough shades I didn't think I would wear to keep me from buying it. All of the colors in the Toasted mini look like shades I'd wear, but the dry formula puts me off. I do have these shades in other palettes, so I'll pass on it. The blush sets aren't catching my attention, but the lip trio definitely is! I may get that one. Thanks for the reviews. I always appreciate hearing your thoughts.
Awesome video as always! Thank you for the one-click tip, I got that Maracuja lip trio too but haven’t broken into it yet. I love their quench lippie formula and am hoping this type of component will stay cleaner than the cardboard tubes that the product gets all smushy in.
I kinda like the sets together 🙂 the 3 products all seem to match each other with neutral, warm/peachy and cooler/pink shades .. you could bundle up a pallette, blush set and lippie. And the price seems good for what it is.

Thank you SO much for the review! The Lil Juicy palette is the eyeshadow palette that made me do a double take, but then I realized that I have all of these colors in my collection. The lip set is what I'm most likely to purchase. That type of formula is especially nice in the Fall and Winter months. 🙂
@@motildamulgrew I'm really interested in comparing the Tarte Juicy lip formula to Em Cosmetics Lip Cushion, which is $22. I have 3 of the 4 shades and love them.
I have the original ‘Magic Hour’ from Em Cosmetics. I’ve been meaning to compare them, but haven’t gotten to it yet. Which 3 shades do you have and which is your favorite?
@@motildamulgrew I have Venetian Rose, Angele and Mystic. Magic Hour is the only one that I don't have yet. I like all three for different reasons, lol. I love the formula and it is much more pigmented than I expected. Mystic is very similat in shade to Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. Angele is a really pretty pink, not too light or bright. Venetian Rose is a rosey mauve color.
As always a great review. I ordered the blushes yesterday and now I'm having second thoughts. I hoped for more variety. Also, initially I really wanted to get the palettes, because I enjoyed the original ones, but then I watched Jen Phelps video and heard about a difference in the formula. I really don't find it ok for them to sell them as minis then...

I used to be such a sucker for Tarte’s holiday releases (especially their blush palettes), but I skipped last year’s holiday release, and it looks like I’ll be skipping this year’s release except for those glosses. You’ve talked me into those! lol I feel like Tarte and Too Faced have phoned in their holiday releases over the last few years. I mean, I get that Tarte is all about the “natural” look, but there are so many brands now that it’s easy for them to get lost in the shuffle. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts!
