Hi, Mo! I'm so glad you're reviewing this brand. I think the formulas will work well with my mature, combo skin. (It used to be oily - now, it's dry in spots, oily in spots and a little sensitive.) I bought the two new Rare Beauty eyeshadows because I love that they're both all shimmer palettes. The color stories are fun, too! I got the ELF holiday eyeshadow duos set. The makeup brush that comes with it is worth the overall price of $7.00, by itself! And...the BH Cosmetics Naughty and Nice palettes are winners, too. Somebody stop me! LOL!

Hi Claire! It’s always tricky with foundations etc. in terms of a review, but I think you might like these. I’m really curious about the bh palettes-the Naughty palette looks really good. It’s always so nice to have you here and I always appreciate your comments-especially because you’re an ‘avid makeup lover’ like me.

Hi Mo! 👋 the happy blush is 😍. I really like those minis. Since they have cream formulas and you just need a little the size is perfect, plus like you said, you get to try different things. Thank you so much for all the swatches! I’m getting one of the minis 😃. The eyeshadows are so pretty! I’m glad the line works for not only in the 20’s age group 🤣 cause I way passed that!

Hi Irma! You’re little, waving hand always makes me happy. I agree-the size of the products are perfect. I’d like to see more brands move toward smaller products-particularly at a smaller price. You’re very welcome for the swatches. I’m way passed the 20’s, too! 😊 By the way, I finally filmed my ND Glam review. Hoping to have it up this week. I know you’ve been waiting patiently-and even if you already bought it and don’t watch the review, that’s fine. I promised you I would do a review and I try very hard to keep my promises.💕

Also, I hope Viseart comes through with some holiday release! Like if we didn’t have enough “new” 😂. I mean it’s hard to keep up this time of the year. Hi Mo! I have two of the blushes - a full-size of Joy and a mini of Grace. Joy is my favorite, both for the color and the formula. I agree that the dewy formula is easier to work with. I would like to try one of the lip souffles. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts, as always. I hope you are doing well, my friend.

Hi Karen! Yes, I remember when you hauled Joy and Grace, I’m glad you’re enjoying them. Joy strikes me as a very ‘you’ color. I wonder if the nude shade ‘Courage’ would be a good lip Souffle for you? Hi Mo! Thanks so much for the great review and swatches! As you were reviewing the minis I was like those are nice but not my colors. Then BAM you brought out the pink! Those colors are my jam! However, I am not sure if would get them. I like cream blush (CP blush stix) but I will admit I like straight forward no major learning curve needed makeup. This line, though it has nice packaging, just doesn't really seem to do it for me. I would safely say I am not the demographic they are looking for either but in today's market the possible customer base is HUGE so sometimes brands need to walk that line carefully. I think this line walked it decently but I am not ooo I need it. Sorry for the rambling!

Hi Kathie! You’re welcome, as always. The pink ‘Happy’ blush is my favorite (huge surprise, right?😊). I totally understand your feelings on this line and we both agree, we probably weren’t the ‘target demo’. I always appreciate your comments, and know you never need to apologize for rambling. I really liked this video even though I don't feel like this line speaks to me. Something you said left me wanting to ask you about concealer. At 58 I am ready to give up the quest for a concealer to make my under eyes look better. Most of them make my under eye area look worse. I have tried many and have a drawer full of products I don't like. What do you do in that area? Foundation? Powder? Nothing? I love your makeup passion. I am there with you always with the goal of having fun and looking great.

Hi Ellen. I just use my foundation under my eyes. I feel like it matched the rest of my face and that’s fine with me. I use a relatively light hand with foundation in general, so I don’t tend to end up with a lot of obvious ‘caking’ or additional dryness under my eyes. It seems to work for me. I just adore makeup-it’s so fun!

I've been on the fence about this foundation as well...and still am. What is your best foundation and shade? I'm the same colour as you and prefer the greyish neutrals and it seems at the beauty counter they always match my undertone or depth incorrectly or brands don't understand what light neutral actually means...Shiseido 220 was my most recent mismatch

Hi Boomer. At the moment, my closest shade match is the Estee Lauder Hydra Rescue foundation in 2C3 Fresco--it has that elusive gray-ish undertone. I also really do well with the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic hydrating foundation in 55N--it's not as gray but it seems to match me well.

Do you have any of the cream blushes by fenty? Do they compare (obviously not application wise)?

I do have some of the Fenty blushes, Dani. The Rare Beauty blushes have a somewhat dryer texture and set more quickly than Fenty for me. Does that help?

Yes, that helps a lot. I have very dry skin and am finding the rare beauty matte blushes too drying.

I love blushes and love trying new ones but they are so hard to finish up! I hope brands also release minis for their products. When I find that I love a formula, I buy all shades. I applaud Selena for releasing minis. Only someone confident in the quality know that when people get a taste of their goods, they'll come back for more.

That’s a really interesting point about confidence in the quality of the line, burgerpatty. These particular blushes are so concentrated that I think, for most people, the mini would last a long time.
