It made me really sad she wasn’t at Ian and Mickey’s wedding. They didn’t even mention her, but chose to talk about Monica. Bad call for the writers the void was Fiona and not Monica.
That broke my heart too. I have nthg against Monica but fiona she practically raised him not just as a brother but her own child. Atleast a phone on speaker or anything at his wedding. Real disappointment.

people like her are real heroes of this world, real stars, they are trying every day to make something out of NOTHING...Frank gave up, Monica gave up...on their own children...and finally she gave up on them too...they all are smart and brilliant children, in the world where no one cares...there are 1000 of people around us living that way ...when we see a drug addict all we can think off he is a looser...but before we judge...we should think ..how long was he fighting with the world before he gave up ...but its so difficult to save someone when you are drowning yourself..

@@Hillaricious From my personal experience, I struggle with anxiety and depression and some people just don't seem to understand, which can be fine I am kinda proud of myself bc I can understand other people And I dropped out of college on first semester, as Lip did, if I am not wrong? I just couldn't handle any of it, all I was thinking is that I want to live a life the way I want, not people and money to control me, I am thinking of not comunicating with anyone my aunt and uncle lie to some people idk how to say it in English, family of my sister's husband , they lie to them that I do great, and I get reminded of that, and u know what I said? what I think about myself, what I want to do in my life, that's the most important thing, bc If I get shared with people, Ik I will drown myself one day bc I will definitely loose my personality

Very well edited. Shameless is not the same without Emmy. The Fiona character had the best writing. I’m very disappointed that the writers have chosen not to even acknowledge her character in what I think is the last season. We don’t know where Fiona went!! We don’t know if she’s ok. Fiona was a primary character and to just dismiss her this season without a word, even from the siblings that she raised, is a writer screwup.
"She left!" Those two words hit close to home for me. My mom is an alcoholic and manic. My dad works a full time job. I looked after her during her hangovers. I was 7. Staying home all day from school for a week when my older sister had pneumonia. I hid my money from my mom when she spent all hers on booze and cigarettes. When I was 8 my mom asked me how much money I had when I got home from school. She used to steal my money that I would use to buy food with. We had no electricity, no heat, but somehow we still had a house. I'm 16 years old and still don't know how I survived through that. Along with my countless medical problems. She also drank while she was pregnant with me. I have fetal alcohol syndrome. And that gives people a life expectancy of 20-37 years old. I have brain tumors. I was born at 23 1/2 weeks old and I survived. My tumors are classified under the childhood cancer umbrella. I have suffered with eating disorders and anxiety. OCD, ODD, a weak immune system. Hospital visits, MRI's, getting injected with radiation/chemo to see the tumors. watching my hair get thin and bits of it would fall out. I somehow survived all of that. IDK how I did it. I'm not asking for pity or admiration, I'm asking for awareness. I hope to be a RU-vid star one day. I have a channel called SkylarSage15. I hope you're doing better. For 13 years my dad was an alcoholic and my mom worked when my sisters and I were home from school. Even in middle school I was making them dinners and watching them, while my dad was gone drinking. Eventually, he cheated on her while I was at a sleepover on my birthday. I got a call from my mom at 3 am puking and crying. They divorced and my dad stopped drinking when we moved in. It's been over a year, and I'm starting to see cans occasionally again. I can't let him fall in the same place because my mom moved so far away... And half the time my sisters hate me. But it gets better, it will one day. At least I hope
Isn't it just wow when you relate to a character and the story line so much, it starts to feel like 'That's my life' only if I could have the better things too.
you know, i’ve seen videos of fiona’s character arc but yours puts it together so well. the way you pieced it was amazing. from the start to the coke incident to the alcoholism and then the voice overs on top of voiceovers were probably my favorite and ending it with her family thanking her. omg the way you edited it and the amount of hard work it must’ve taken you. this is such a masterpiece and I love it sm OFMJFJFFJM
I started watching this show a month ago and.... I binged watched the entire show... because of Fiona... Emmy Rossum got me to truly love her character Fiona Gallagher... and as a product of being raised by a single mom and a big family... It's easy for me to say that Fiona deserved better
the only time I respected frank was the quote "you should spend less time blaming her and more time thanking her" because she raised all of her siblings and no one raised her
Fiona went thru so much. Like Debbie said “Fiona takes care of everyone but, no one takes care of Fiona” she raised every Gallagher and they all treated her bad expect Carl and Liam. I feel bad for her season 10 wasn’t the same without her. I love u sm Fi.
“She wasn’t here! She was never fucking here!” I say that about my mother all the time. The other day, my mom said to me ‘you can ask me one question and I have to be brutally honest’ I thought for a bit and finally I asked the one question that she’s given a lie answer to. “Mom, did you know that drinking while you were pregnant was going to harm my health?” Her answer: yes. Every time I asked her that question she has said ‘no’ each time and finally I am hearing the truth. I have heard it from the rest of my family but never from her. And even then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I never thought I would hear the truth from her. The person that gave birth to me had caused so much harm to my health.

Lo peor de todo es que nadie le reconoció todo lo que sacrifico por ellos, se perdió muchísimas cosas para cuidar a sus hermanos y a sus papás, Lip cada vez que Fiona tocaba fondo en vez de ayudarla le gritaba, se que Fiona la cago miles de veces, pero en los Gallagher todos la cagaron, Lip siendo alcoholico, Ian se que estaba enfermo pero la cago varias veces y por su enfermedad siempre le perdonaron todo, pero Fiona se equivoco y la desprecio muchísimo tiempo, Debbie se embarazo siendo que apenas tenían para vivir, El único que no le recrimino nada fue Carl, que también la cago vendiendo drogas (Liam no cuenta porque era chiquito)
es que si, además de apoyarlos siempre. Era solo una nena cuando tuvo que cargar con todos ellos, sin saber nada y hizo lo mejor que pudo para criarlos, aguantando un montón de mierda, con trabajos terribles.

I feel Fiona’s character on such a persons level. I’m 35 and so tired of getting fucked over in life and especially by men. Feels like it’s never ending, tired of all the BS
