Jeez, I feel terrible for Steven. All this pressure is probably going to cause him to corrupt, him bottling up his feelings so others don’t feel like it’s their fault must be really stressful for him. Steven used to be such a happy kid, loving every day of his life, and now he’s falling apart.

Steven tried to vent to plants about everything bothering him. 4. Steven just got everything that was stressing him out thrown in his face when his cactus started repeating everything to the gems 5. Steven has to watch yet another person he loves go away after he begs them not And that’s all just from prickly pear there’s also. 6. Mother issues 7. Feeling like he needs to fix everyone and everything his mom did. 8. He can’t prove to anyone he is 100% not his mom. 9: He thinks he has handle everything on his own that his Friends can’t handle it because he hasn’t seen the change in them. 10: he can’t take his own advice about change... 11: he probably feels like he can’t feel this way because he thinks his friends and people he sees have gone through way worse. 12: his clinginess is literally pushing the Gems away. And that’s all the problems as of now.(prickly pear just came out as of writing this) Poor Steven is going to snap one of these days. It really feels like the show is building up to something.

Steven isnt a moody teenager, hes a teenager in need of help. I bet Stevens scared of these emotions and dosent know how to deal with them so he lashes out cause emotions that strong are hard to handle.

Steven’s life just got worse and worse as the show went on. At the beginning of the show he didn’t have any friends his age other than Connie and she didn’t live in town. He was constantly left home alone. Then he sets lapis lazuli free and finds out there are other gems. Then he has to deal with Jasper and witness a incredibly toxic fusion. And even after they save lapis he still is working hard to make everyone happy. Like helping lapis and peridot get along. And helping amethyst when she’s sad because she thinks he’s better than her. And that’s just the beginning. And never once is he thanked for helping others. Instead he’s continually treated like a child despite the fact that he was forced to grow up and be independent from a young age.
