Are you going to do a video of Salamanca and Segovia soon? Lloret de Mar? I was in Spain in 1990 and in 2018. I would move there if I could from the USA.

@@johnlincicum6390 we are definitely planning videos on Salamanca and Segovia, but it's going to take a while as we are focusing right now on recording our first road trips. Lloret de Mar is not our radar for the time being.

We'll have to pass on this one, we simply don't know, we know quite a few things about travel in Spain, but citizenship is way beyond the scope of this channel (and our knowledge).

Thank you for another wonderful video. I just booked your recommended hotels in Barcelona & Madrid. It was be wonderful if you can make a video on Lisbon. Because most tourists like myself would likely to visit the neighboring country such as Portugal. Again, appreciate your video.

Wow, I found it hard to believe that some of the hotels are still charging for Wi-fi. Your information is so wonderful and I am going there for the first time in April. So glad I found your channel and I will be watching all your videos..... Thank you.

Hello, Carmen, be very welcome to the channel. Hotels charging for Wi-Fi is a no-no these days. To be honest, that's a rare case in Barcelona. The only instance we can think of is the EasyHotel we recommend, and in this particular case it is because it's a low-cost hotel with all the perks charged extra (if you join the hotel's affinity club, for free, you get Wi-Fi also for free). I like Hotel Opera Ramblas, just seconds to te Liceu Metro Station. Good, clean, AC. Quiet. Cross the Rambla and to Gothic! Another one is the Benidorm hotel, the new rooms are spectacular. Just down the Ramblas.

Love your videos and the playlists! Very informative. Thank you! I am watching them to plan for my trip to Barcelona. What do you think about Hotel Nouvel which is a block from Plaza Cataluna? It seems to be a bit old but we love the location and the price. We are hoping it is well maintained and not run down. Anything we need to be aware of? Would appreciate any advice.

Hi Kelly, Nouvel is a basic hotel with an excellent location. If the price is good and you adapt your expectations to those of a 2 star hotel, in can be a good choice. All the best.

It's a hotel in the city of L'Hospitalet the Llobregat, near an industrial state. Good transport connections to the centre of Barcelona.

We've actually stayed at the hotel, one of our best hotel experiences in the Greater Barcelona area (the hotel is not in Barcelona itself). The architecture is extraordinary and the rooms are truly great. Lili, the location of both hotels is quite good, but if we could choose, we would stay at the Catalonia Passeig de Gràcia, a very nice hotel with a splendid location. All the best.

Useful information. There are two Ibis Styles in the city. One of them is near top end of Passeig De Gracia. We supposed to stay here last year in March. But had to leave the country due to the lockdown. The rates we paid were quite reasonable. Have you been to this hotel? If you have, do you consider this as budget hotel?

Hi there, and be very welcome to the channel. We have stayed at both Ibis Styles. We liked the Ibis Bogatell better than the one near Passeig de Gràcia. But in terms of tourism in Barcelona, the location of the Ibis Styles Barcelona Centre is much better. Both are a step above the definition of budget hotel, in terms of service and in terms of prices too.

I will be transferring to another country from Barcelona and will be there for 7hours before reaching my final destination. I was wondering if any of the hotels offer hourly rates for a nap and shower. Any suggestions?

In the past, some hotels used to offer hourly rates. But that was gone during the pandemic and haven't heard of that practice since.

Both hotels are in fine residential areas of Barcelona, but a bit distant from the centre to be able to walk. Good transport connections, though.
