The Jedi who rescued him was the actor who played Jar Jar Binx. He caught a lot of flack after the prequels b/c ppl hated the character. It was nice that they inserted him into the show to honor him.

I understand your intent with this comment, but to say Ahmed Best got redemption in this episode implies he needed redemption. Ahmed Best has never done anything that he needed to be redeemed from. However honoring him like this acknowledges the harm fans did to him and is close enough to making amends.

I think there was a split with people not minding Bo-Katan based episodes this season, and others that felt they should be mainly Mando & Grogu. That's Ahmed "Jar Jar" Best as Kelleran Beq, the Jedi who got Grogu out of the Jedi Temple. For a while on Disney there was a Jedi Academy-themed game show with the conceit that the contestants were Jedi younglings in training -- Kelleran Beq was the host.

@@thatnerdtara not just voice,, literally all his physical comedy. He wore a suit during the filmings … but yeah, he went through a lot of emotional stuff from what the fans gave him a lot of hate, yeah, pretty serious stuff and I’m glad he’s still with us.

Some were upset that Din was becoming secondary, that Bo was being the focus of the season. Din had no doubts about himself. A soldier and hero who led by example. He knows the Way. By his lead Bo was finding herself. The confidence to lead again. She was always a master strategist from the beginning. The other Mandalorians are beginning to see in her what Din already knows. Their character dynamics reminded me of classic Star Wars. Din is Luke Skywalker, hero and knight. Princess Bo Katan is Princess Leia Organa, leader and commander.

3:22 Kelleran Beck is played by Ahmed Best. We've seen him in star Wars before, as Jar Jar Binks. also, Star Wars had an obstacle course show for kids in RU-vid where this character was the overseer. after the hate that was launched at Best after the dislike of his character, it's great to see him again. even if he didn't deed it, it's some form of redemption.

So it's already been mentioned that the Jedi that rescued Grogu was played by Ahmed Best, the actor that played Jar Jar, but also, those were Naboo Security Forces on the platform and Beq and Grogu left in a Naboo starship. Also, when the Armorer told Bo-Katan "This is the way" when discussing the mythosaur, I think that the Armorer was telling her, "I was not there, so I cannot say one way or another if what you speak is true, but if you truly believe that you saw an actual mythosaur, then I respect that belief and will not gainsay you on it."

4:10 these are Nabooans, Since we know where the one senator from Naboo was at the moment of this, and having no indication that Padme took any action to help, I like to think the senator that did set this escape up was representative Binks. meaning that Jar Jar saved Grogu by helping Kelleran.

Gosh I love those shots of that Republic Gunship with updated lighting and CGI since Attack of the Clones. I find this compliment extremely cliché and overused but I'm gonna say it anyways because it's deserved.... chef's kiss. Some Star Wars fans might get tired of seeing different angles of Order 66, but I don't because it makes it all feel like the same story(which it is).

Great reaction! 😊 This is one of my favorite episodes. Love seeing Grogu training with the other Mandalorian foundlings in the beginning of the episode. And in a flashback, we found out who saved Grogu from the Jedi temple during Order 66. Fun Fact: The actor who plays Jedi Kelleran Beq is Ahmed Best(who played Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy). We see by the end of the flashback that Grogu is still in Kelleran Beq's care. So I'm hoping that he'll show up again. And Grogu and Bo Katan both get a new piece of armor by the end of the episode. Looking forward to your next reaction to this and for "Ahsoka". 😊

A Mythosaur was tamed and ridden by Mandalore the Great and riddeb by ancient Mandalorians, but they were believed to have gone extinct long before the Mandalorian cataclysm. He was their 1st great leader, & led the wars against the Jedi. No, not just a vision, Bo clearly saw it in the episode.

Mandalorian's thrives off of the challenge. To live on a planet and area with a pastoral living condition would make life more complicated and not more accessible for them. They must test themselves and the younger ones to grow.

Ture, but this is also a group of outcasts. They've lived in the underbelly of cities for some time now, and took a great deal of damage to the tribe for it. This planet may have been a desperate move.

You've got to remember that Grogu is 50 years old. Yoda was training others by the time he was 100. So Grogu is falling behind.

Y'know....I just don't understand how folks were trashing this season of the show. We are getting nothing but awesome live-action content with ALL the Mandalorians. It's like the movie "300" only with jetpacks and the Mandalorians are the "space Spartans". Great vid as usual!!

I love seeing mando and grogu together as much as everyone else out there, but I'm sure maybe its just me, but something about watching and the idea of grogu trying to become a mandalorian just doesn't feel right. lol.

Bo's an interesting, complex character. She's not the hero that is sublime and impervious. She's affected by the death of all her family. At one point she was reluctant to take the highest role after the death of her sister. She's at times self-effacing, at other times obsessive, or jaded and massively depressed. In other words, she's very human. You get the impression people would follow her, not just due to a sword or to skill, but because of her ability to connect with them at all levels.
