In this video, I will show you how to create a faux metal finish w/ faux straps and rivets. This is a fantastic finish that can be applied to any paintable surface that you want to look like metal. Can I use all these on a particle board cabinet after light sanding ? Wood these strips of tape stay on in a room not too far from a wood stove? Love this !! Thanks

I think so, but it’s hard to tell. If the surface is clean from dust, dirt and debris, then there should be no problem. My range hood is still holding up perfectly over the heat of my stove. Good luck!

It's a stunning effect, but how does it hold up to grease and cleaning products? I'm definitely using these products and techniques, but I am concerned about a kitchen application. (I'm not the only one using the stove and somethings people get a little enthusiastic with the heat when cooking burgers and bacon. No, I cannot train them to use splatter screens. I've been trying for decades. lol!)

I totally get it! LOL! I have had no problems cleaning my range hood with Dawn dish soap and warm water.

I clean it with a damp microfiber cloth or clean cotton rag.
