Honestly, it's almost as if they know that even with the criticism, what are we gonna do about it? They have a near monopoly on everything media entertainment. They could probably buy a whole state for themselves
Thanos: I am...inevitable *Bass drops and a man cast in shadow appears behind him. Thanos sweats profusely as the man leans in to whisper in his ear* Disney: And I...own you.
This is one of my favorite beats they've ever done. Even by ERB standards the amount of confidence and intimidation it gives off is unreal. I feel like I'm losing a rap battle to Walt just by listening to his instrumental lmao
I like how Walt isn’t portrayed like how he actually was as a human being but more like a vessel the wig heads who run Disney now. Like a manifestation of the Disney “Empire.”
Jojo Man Ah, you belong to Disney, which means you stay busy Cranking out magic and assembly line whimsy Artists begging me to stop, I won't let 'em! Labor conditions in my shop? I don't sweat 'em! I'm powerful enough to make a mouse gigantic With only 3 circles I dominate the planet Clearly, there's nobody near me I'm owning this battle, in fact, I own this whole series So hop on my Steamboat boys, but don't rock it I'll put a smile on your face, and green in your pocket You'll be safe and insured when you're under my employ Now look at it! Gaze upon my empire of joy!
The horrified look on Henson and Lee's faces was so damn depressing. If there was ever a more telltale look of "My god, what have I done?", then that was it.
Many people disagreed with how ERB portrayed Walt in the season 4 finale, but personally I agree and love how they did it. It shows us that Disney is an ever expanding empire that shows no sign of stopping. Walt himself is like the crazy, as he put it - "Disneyland lord" of everyone's property. He is indeed the mad, almost dictator and he wants more power, hence his evil and devilish grin and crazy eyes. I mean, just look at the picture on the video, it gives you nightmares. He is meant to break the peace between Jim and Stan Lee as a way of reminding them, "Hey! I own you! Back to work, now!" I guess he also demonstrates the power of business.
+Godzillafan07 Yeah, my thoughts :) I would also add that I think his grin is not there just to be scary. It's not really an evil grin. He is almost smiling. But smiling in a... twisted way. You could say it's the honest intentions of the beginning of Disney : creating cartoons for kids. But as Disney grew it became obssesed with money and the growth of his little empire. Hence the smile becoming twisted. But the shadow of the honest beginning is still there : the smile who's been deformed by power and money.
This is that “I’m not building a company. I’m not building a business. I’m building an EMPIRE, and everything I want, I will acquire” type of beat. A boss beat indeed.
0:35-0:51"I'm powerful enough to make a mouse gigantic! With only 3 circles,I dominate the planet!Clearly, there's nobody near me!I'm owning this battle!.In fact,I own this whole series!" My favorite part
One thing that I particularly adore this instrumental for is for how oppressively powerful it is. Wonderfully conveys that "Bow To Your God" vibe they were going for
Kinda feel like they should do this battle again but somewhere along the line they manage to free Walt and bring him back to when he was just a starting animator and have him join Stan and Jim against Bob Iger.
I think what added more chills is that disney also owned the entire ERB series before going independent peter and lloyd left to produce it on their own
Everyone in the comments is saying Walter was a bad man, he really wasn't. He was a great man and carred about happiness. The park was $1 when it first opened, so people could have fun and not care about paying a big price. But after he died, Iger brought the price up to $120. I still love Walt Disney World very much though, and no matter what anyone says, I will not change my views on Walt and his kingdom of joy.
He was hardly the greatest of men. Bit odd you’d tell the internet that you admire him and will never change your view. Could have wrote that in your diary.
Final Boss: Walt Disney (oh, and he owns the game because what does he not own?) Speed it up to 1.25,and prepare for hell every entertainment company not owned by Disney!
I'm not sure if Walt Disney would be proud, scared, or both if he saw his company today. There are certainly plenty of reasons to feel either way about it.
Don't feel bad for not uploading immediately, a day is still pretty quick especially seeing as you have life stuff to do I mean I would say you don't have to be sorry but being sorry for what is essentially a small QoL thing anyway is what keeps channels like this good. An actual peer to peer sharing rather than a dictaction to masses, just look at other bigger channels for examples of shitty fanbase management if you don't believe me Any case, thanks for the great job and hope that the stuff in Malaysia went ok :) Till next time
SzyderczyGracz Nah man, it's the fault of god that he gave you this destiny. As I said, you just gotta look past it and be happy for who you are in the inside.
It's ok, you don't need to apologize to us. 1 day after the actual battle is not bad at all, It's awesome. And again it's ok, We understand.Don't apologize to us :)
