@@infiniteetii7135 it's a joint effort through and through tbh. One handles affairs dealing with the public (ayaka) which is quite important in its own right, and the other handles more official business behind the curtain and is hardly seen by the public (Ayato).
It would be great if they let the MC wear yukata even just for the story quest of Ayaka tho I understand the MC's reasoning... It's still a lost opportunity :(

ayaka is probably one of my favourite characters in the game. her visual design is gorgeous, her personality is beautiful, her backstory is touching, and her relationship with the traveller is adorable. her story quest is also one of my favourites, especially due to the beautiful cut scene at the end. she is a greatly developed character, and this animation captures her character incredibly well. i love this so much, amazing job!
Its Xiao , Ganyu, Eula,Ayaka for me. It hits a lot. Damn, But *Cry* o & Anemo Characters have most sad past in their Life. One just lost her parents at a early age & have to stood for herself & Sacrificing her needs to remove the backclash on her family name, One lost his friend, One is in Constant suffering, One is to Reject her family name, One is standing between life & death, One is lonely for thousands of years,One is conflict to who to choose. Cryo Characters are something that can relate to people in real life who works tirelessly to cover their flaws & try to be perfect by sacrificing their ordinary pleasures of their Life
So beautiful, it really puts it into perspective how sad Ayaka’s story is. She puts her duties above herself, and her story background talked about how she hid her favorite childhood tenmari in her drawer, more as a symbol of her leaving her childhood and knowing she can’t go back to it 😭😭

Ayaka's personal quest makes me so sad after playing. The dance was amazing yet when traveler and Ayaka parted from each other, I really was going "At least escort her home!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!"At least we can keep her companied for a little longer, no matter how little!
I was furious at Aether for this very reason as he just walked away from Ayaka as it was nothing. When Ayaka had interest on Aether he just left her at Chinju forest. As you said, atleast Aether have escorted her to home in a cutscene.

1:23 I love this image right here. Of all the things I expected Ayaka to be when leaks of her started to trickle out, I did not expect her to be a "Caged Bird" character. And I don't know if its because of the way she's presented, but she hits waay harder than other "Caged Birds" like Yukiko from Persona. I never felt bad for Yukiko. I felt very bad for Ayaka.

Ayaka story is indeed beautiful and sad at the same time, I really admire her as character cause she had to carry the kamisato clan on her shoulders at that very young age and the fact the lost her mom. The passion you put on these art is amazing!

The bird (egret) that appeared many times in the video actually represents Ayaka herself. It was in a cage before but escaped when Ayaka meets the traveler. She is no longer a cold and reserved princess or a representative of the clan, but a normal girl that can have friends again.

I would actually not see Ayaka as the girl that many player see: who always just blushes and says flirty (? words. Altho I do think she said that, I still would not see Ayaka in such a romantic way. When watching her teaser, my only thought was that she is an extremely focused and dedicated person. Her main purpose is not love nor play. She has burdens, and she takes them up with skill. She is not that little princess that calls for help and gets shy at every sentence the traveller says: she has much longer sights for the future of her clan and Inazuma. She is calm and composed. It is sad to say that she will have no escape from the burdens she has, but we should not forget this. She is dedicated to her OWN life and that sharp katana, and is ready to do her job.
the only one time a character ever got me interested in their backstory and lore was Venti , after which I never got a connection I felt with venti's story quest with anyone else, but after playing Ayaka's story quest it felt soo close to home for no freaking reason but its something that is burned into my memory and its really awesome how mihoyo made a story quest for a character, which almost felt like a love letter from mihoyo to all the people who have been holding ayaka as a character they adored close to heart, and this fan sketch animation or whatever it is called is super gorgeous kudos to the person who put soo much effort into making this, I'm proud to have waited for ayaka and got her on day one
