I haven't played Danganronpa but I love this so much. Also, I love how this replaced Kuma with Monokuma, Makoto with Makoto, and a character voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch by another one voiced by him. EDIT: I finished Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc a few days ago. I really enjoyed it and I'm planning to play the other games, too! EDIT TWO: I played DR2 and V3 a while back, and want to watch an UDG playthrough. I loved them so much! My favorite is V3, without a doubt.
@superclaudiagamer1243 Danganronpa is pretty good as a murder mystery comedy! I wouldn’t say it’s horror or too messed up. If you end up liking Danganronpa I suggest “Your Turn to Die” ! Or even if you just like persona in general (and it’s your profile picture and what you said I presume you do lol) it’s also really good. Edit:) in my opinion as a fan of both, Danganronpa has more “polished” looks and more trials to play through. But I think Your Turn to Die has better dynamic characters/character developments and more emotional moments because of that. (Your Turn to Die can be pretty mentally taxing though because of this so that is a warning, I wouldn’t suggest playing it all in one go. Plus it’s free online!)

Technically this is canonically possible, for those of you who have played Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne you probably know about the Amala Network. Which connects universes, meaning it's possible for a SMT x Danganronpa crossover.
I found this video in my recommendations right after I finished watching a gameplay of Danganronpa 1 and Danganronpa the animation season 1. I did get some persona vibes from both so I'm glad I watched this. I keep preesing my replay button
If we were going by VAs, the P3 Makoto should've been replaced by Togami, because same Japanese VA. (However, I don't really know anybody who's played the games with Japanese audio!)

@@pastyIe Hifumi isn't a terrible character, neither is Celeste, and neither is Hiyoko. If you think they are, you're just... Wrong. I mean, by your logic, Komaeda is also a terrible character, and so is Twogami. Calling a character terrible just cause you don't like them is really stupid. It's why people call Yukari terrible. She's not. The fact of the matter is, these are all very well-written characters who deserve more credit than the fandom gives them. I expected better from someone with a Junpei pfp.
In all seriousness, I'm loving seeing everyone happy and being friends for once--Makoto and Hajime teaming up, Kiyotaka bro-hugging Leon and Teruteru, Kyoko, Mukuro, Ibuki and Mahiru doing a team handstack, Peko and Chihiro supporting each other, Mondo, Fuyuhiko, Gundham and Byakuya being bros, Junko trying to be nice to Aoi for once, Toko, Chiaki, Sonia and Hiro hanging out...Ryoko with Yasuke...it's really nice.
I love the persona q art style on the danganronpa characters! It looks amazing! As well as the music and animation! It’s almost as if it was the real intro!! I’m
The best part? A good chunk of the Japanese voice actors of SEES from Persona 3 are in THH. We have Togami as Door-kun/Protagonist (Akira Ishida), Enoshima as Yukari (Megumi Toyoguchi), Ishimaru as Junpei (Kosuke Toriumi), Naegi as Ken (Megumi Ogata), and Owada as Shinjiro (Kazuya Nakai). As for every connection between them... Togami and Door-kun are both really stoic and apathetic to what happens around them, Enoshima and Yukari are both the "mean popular girls", Ishimaru and Junpei are so different I can't think of anything other than both being funny, Naegi and Ken are fellow members of the Council of Video Game Shota (Is Naegi even a shota? A lot of insane people seem to consider him one), and Owada and Shinjiro look super angry but are actually pretty chill.
