Has anyone realised that this song is from Mei's perspective. When listening to it, think of it as her singing it and it makes so much sense, I only got this when listening to it before a couple of times and reading the lyrics.

Going from "the cruel fate that stills dooms us to die" to the post-song preview's "Aren't I the cutest of all?" seems pretty normal, if you ask me.

It's not the translation that makes a good English cover to anime songs, but the elegance with which the lyrics are adapted to preserve the original sound of singing while the translation remains accurate (at least in regards to the message of the lyrics). Great job LittleJayneyCakes.
