I feel like the people who are making comments about wanting a yandere girlfriend REALLY just want somebody to genuinely love them. The world doesn't show us a lot of people who mutually love, respect, and care about each other very deeply, which is what romance is supposed to be. All we get to see is nothing at all or this psychotic extreme, or possibly some perverted distortion of what true love is. There is, however, legitimate romance left in the world, thank goodness.
