Absolutely no offense intended toward the person who worked hard to do this piece for piano, violin and guitar, but I think this song is much better on koto. I think it just has something to do with the way it's set up for the instrument. This did sound good though.
Understand, I prefer the original one as well. But unfortunately my friends and I can't play the koto, I just arranged it for us to have fun with this beautiful piece.
It's generated by MuseSccore, and I already published it on MuseScore website. You can find the rearranged music sheet link in description. I didn't have the original one, you could buy it through Amazon Japan.
I arranged this based on the emotions and melody trending, it's like the conversations with three different people, not just to pursue the similar tones.
Sorry I cannot reply you with long Japanese sentences. Yes, I think the midi sound of the violin is very strange, thus why I wanna find some of my friends to play it together with real instruments. The intention to rearrange the piece with these three instruments is to use the instruments we are used to play it. The violin is a string instrument, while the original ones, classical guitar, even the piano are plucked strings, therefore the timbre must be different. Also, it's one of my research to compare and find the best combinations of instruments for harmonic arrangements.
